San Antonio
in the last six weeks I finally found the best burger near me, medical area SA. Teddy Bs. Literally googled best burger near me, found it, a 4.6 I think and it was awesome. Only one problem. Came home and googled again for whatever reason and found article they were closing end of October. I ate there one more time before they closed. funny though, went next door to gas station and found the largest can of sprite ever for me, a 16 oz. Plenty. I have already found the best Tex-mex near me with Datapoint Tacqueira. Still on the prowl for best burger. Not high standards, just a really good fresh burger, w/cheese, fries don't matter anymore. prefer good price, but not a killer. It is good to know that the rating was correct. Don't eat out much, probably once every two weeks.

Week 10, 2024 prediction contest: Texas at Arkansas
Super hard game to predict. The other day's win was too easy. I will go with Good guys 27 Piggies 14. 265 yards.

What do y’all make of Georgia beating our ass?
their QB has been very consistent in the fact that he throws 2 ints per game. He did that for us. If we had an offense with a flip that night we would have won, I think.

Prediction Contest 2024 week 6, Texas v OU
Rust and the number 19 keep coming up in my head. I'll go with Texas 28 and OU 19 Rushing yards Texas - 121 OU ...............................129 spread of -8. Really should be the best game of the year. I think Georgia will be a rout for us, assuming injuries are not significant.

Prediction Contest 2024 Week 5, Mississippi State at Texas
If Sark doesn't take the points off the board, I nail our score. Can't explain the greatness of Arch, other than to say he is the best longhorn backup QB ever! Before yesterday that honor went to Rick McIvor, who holds the honor of the strongest arm in Texas history. If Rick had competent QB coaching and a decent scheme, he would have had a great career in the NFL. I sat on the student side one year and watched McIvor throw a deep ball-probably 50+ yards in the air against A and M that landed in the chest of a receiver and was dropped. . McIvor was so much better than the guys in front of him the receivers had trouble adjusting to his ball. I can't bear to rewatch it, but I don't know how many of his passes were dropped in the 1984 Cotton Bowl loss against Georgia. Never forget 10-9. You missed it by one Sark decision.

Texas vs. Mississippi State - 3:15pm on SEC Network
The really great thing is that we started slow, but at least our offense fulfilled its potential in the 2nd half, IF YOU DON'T COUNT the mental errors: 1. Sark taking points off the board 2. turnover 3. offensive line penalties. I am a little bit optimistic the D can relearn how to tackle and wrap up. We have a bye week, hope the D hears all two weeks how they can't tackle and fixes the problem.

Texas vs. Mississippi State - 3:15pm on SEC Network
I noticed one of our linemen ready to FIGHT on the extra point. Guarantee he wants to put 50 on these guys. I like it. We will be hungry!!! next week. I actually like a closer game this week.

Tennessee @ Oklahoma
yeah, pretty obvious BV is not the guy taking them to the playoffs. I would not be surprised to see Tenn in the SEC champ. game.

Looks like my passing yardage was 9 yards away!

Prediction Contest 2024, Week 3: UTSA at Texas
Not winning, but this is as close as I am going to come in one of these contests. I haven't looked at box score yet, imagine the total passing yards is within 50 of my prediction.

Texas vs. UTSA - 6pm on ESPN
Just had flashbacks to the bad year of Mack when Colt got injured in the game against 'bama. Colt's lighting it up, and we had soft spot on the schedule in November. It was time to take the training wheels off of Gilbert. Colt gives us a nice halftime lead, but what does Mack do? He has Gilbert hand off the entire 2nd half. Sark-you can prove you can be better than Mack ever dreamed. Sit Ewers next week, and let Arch play the entire game with the entire playbook, or 90% of the playbook! It is gonna take 2 deep at every position, so let's get the 2 deep experience at every position!!

I think Quinn got injured on the handoff, don't remember exact except the handoff was kind of borderline late. After the handoff he got hit pretty hard.

2024 Random Games thread
Washington State has 6:00 on the clock and a lead. My favorite part of the game, when a team with a lead has the ball and needs to run out the clock. Will they pass or stay conservative? They only need about 3 first downs.

Prediction Contest 2024, Week 3: UTSA at Texas
