  1. So, can we pull off a turnover and then kick a FG? 'cuz we sure aren't running the ball now.
  2. new one on me, the hold that stops a play.
  3. another near interception by MM. .....hmm...maybe make that 3 passes this half?
  4. was going to type incoming TD by KState but then we get lucky....looks like we don't need to pass more than about 6 times this half.
  5. I started watching at 10-0 and it is now 17-7, so I'm not doing bad, unless you count the incredible difference in our head coaching decisions.
  6. KState may score again before end of 1st half.
  7. I call it 17-17 6 mins left in 3rd quarter. We are so predictable. It all starts with this incoming TD, caused by our refusal to block on the punt play.
  8. interesting comment from Urban, saying we "could" be one of the two top teams. Honestly, if we could covert inside the red zone, we WOULD BE the #2 team in the Country!!!
  9. ...and no, we cannot do it two times in a row. But we used up some clock. We absolutely refuse to put games away.... Must be in Sark's contract.
  10. 4th and Sark incoming. Can we do it two times in a row?
  11. 24-0 at half is my goal, and should guarantee a win. We are one drive from assuring a win, and if we are still shutting them out after 3 quarters, we should see Arch.
  12. almost turned the State QB into Collen Klein. Instead hit him hard and prevented a first down.
  13. 4th and 1....Fourth and Sark...just like I coined it last week. And it finally works !!!!!!
  14. I started watching... I'm a jinx
  15. illegal snap center for us....true
  16. just started watching. I'm a pretty reliable jinx, so let's see what happens. 10-0 good guys.
  17. And Greggo also lived to enjoy this moment. Even crazier odds.
  18. thinking about former ticket guys, Norm and Rhyner. I don't imagine very many people would have predicted that both Norm and Rhyner would live to see a Texas Rangers World Series championship. It love Nadel's call.
  19. I said something about Nellie the other day....and made a funny one, I said something like "speaking for most Rangers fans, we sure don't want Nellie to catch the first pitch."
  20. I agree. What I am looking for is the "last man standing" from the players who wore a uniform for their team in the great game. My guess is it would be a young QB, most likely someone in the same class as Colt, a redshirt freshman who just happened to be in uniform on the field. I suspect Colt was dressed out because he was the fourth string QB and would have played and burned his shirt had Vince, Matt, and Matt gone down. I don't know if any other position would have dressed a 4th string player, kind of doubt it. If Colt does indeed become the last man standing, my goal in life is to get a picture of Colt in a Texas Uniform,(easy enough) and get him to autograph it with the words "last man standing" on it. At the moment, I am trying to google USC 2005 freshmen redshirt players and getting nowhere fast.
  21. doing the math here, fall of 2006 to fall of 23 = 17 seasons. I saw a short bit today that a lineman is in the league for year 20 now, didn't catch his name. So, while it is possible there is another player in the NFL who was on the sideline that night in 2006, chances are mighty slim.
  22. rankings don't make a shit. We have one loss coming, most likely this weekend.
  23. THIS....RIGHT..........HERE..........! KSU 31 Texas. 28 Punting yards 139 Penalty yards for KSU - 15 - one call late in the game after the refs have decided the game.
  24. wow, just heard Colt's name twice on NBC! They said he has been in for a workout---with the Vikings? I would like Colt to get one more shot, to say for the final time that he was the last man standing from the 2006 BCS championship game.. Remember, he was on the sideline, in uniform. Any idea if there is anybody else still in the league from that game?
