The thing about Pavia is that he is super lucky, ex. the personal foul - he soccerized the referee, and more important, his receivers simply DO NOT drop the ball, ever. They also make great moves almost every time they catch the ball.

oooh, the refs prove they really do love Vandy, and give Pavia the soccer flop for a personal foul. Then Pavia makes them pay with a perfect throw in the end zone.

watching Tenn-Vandy. Pavia has only thrown 2 ints so far, but on pace for 4 or 5. Tenn ahead by one TD. A very entertaining game.

Because if the final score is the current score, I am feeling very good about our chances.

no chance of a mercy TD given by Ohio St. to Michigan correct?

Will be interesting to see which teams put on some serious style points. Tech should be one to watch. If they can win by 50+ and be kneeling the ball with 2:00 left, that would be quite a statement.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
I think you reward top 8 with byes, one less game to play. Agree eliminate CCGs. First round starts weekend CCGs used to start. playoffs would last about a month.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
I only have three wishes: 1. Ohio State win by at least 14 points. 2. Pittsburgh over Miami 3. Ou lose The one nobody seems to be talking about is the Ohio St. game. The Big 10 is perceived to be very, very strong at the top, so if Ohio St. messes up and even plays a very close game and wins by less than 4 points, that hurts our chances, I think. The big 10 would lobby super hard to put Michigan above Texas. Not concerned about Vandy or Alabama at all. Even though 'bama probably loses to Georgia and remains right there with us in the final numbers, we would not play them until the 2nd week of the playoffs. Since we have head to head against Vandy they are not a factor. OU is 1-2 against top 10 teams, played us, Ole Miss, and Alabama. I like us in the #12 position, playing at Tech. That would be fun. Big 12 against SEC. After we beat Tech, we most likely have to go up against 'bama. Wow! Tuesday night is going to be fun.

I think we're focusing mostly on the teams in front of us to lose, but we haven't focused on the positive. We have a record of 3-2 against top 10 teams, right? And our peers don't have a winning record against top 10 teams, correct? If the committee wants, it can say that for the teams fighting for the last spot, what is the record against top 10 teams. If there is a bubble team with a better top 10 record than us, then fine, put them in the playoffs. I suspect none of our peers has a winning record against top 10 teams. Also, our current top 10 win is two scores and against the highest ranked team that has been beat. Aggy was #3 and will probably stay in the top 4.

But the committee can change its mind. I predict Michigan to lose by at least 14 points, so that leaves Bama and Vandy, because I don't think Sooners are losing. All the committee has to do is say look at head to head. Texas beat both Vandy and OU, so Texas is automatically ranked higher. There's the path to us moving ahead of three teams. Then they can ask the question, "How many top ten teams did Alabama beat, vs how many did Texas beat? We win that contest, correct, even if Alabama beats Georgia.

Texas vs. Texas A&M - 6:30pm on ABC
Or last week, if Kansas Sate had helped as well. We have gotten precious little help. The one place I think we will get help tomorrow will be from Ohio State. I think they will whip Michigan by at least 14 points. The Greg McElroy comments at the end of the telecast tonight show he is still bitter. Not at the Texas program, but at Texas fans. He told the story years ago about how after his brief NFL career ended, he was doing business in Texas. Every where in Texas where he was doing business, he would run into Texas fans who would remind him how lucky he was that Colt got injured in the BCS championship game. He said he tired of hearing this, finally gave up, and moved to Alabama.

2025 CFB Polls/Rankings Thead
I like the what ifs, but today, the biggest what if for me is...what if we had simply FINISHED the GAME against Vandy? Even if we only won by 3 TDs, would we be ranked #16? Hardly think so.

ATTN: SHEEPFUCKERS (Week 15 2025)
I'm old, but this kind of reminds me of when we had a hot young QB coming into Aggy game and made it real close, as in maybe a TD loss to Aggy. Mark Murdock had no business playing that well against them. Golden arm, no doubt. If Arch continues his hot play and somehow the defense comes to life, we can actually lead going into the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to see us winning the 4th quarter. When was the last time we actually outscored a team in the 4th quarter? OU?

We're done, but should we somehow beat Aggy, we can make the committee think about it. That's as close as we are getting. We might somehow move up to #15 this week, but that is not close enough, imo.

So Utah used all of their timeouts. They need a FG to tie. probably gonna be on the 35 yard line.

Kstate needs only one first down and then stay in bounds. Not gonna happen.
