  1. 4th down will go for it.
  2. We are trying to let this team back in the game. good tackle there. In a way we've got them right where we want them. Back up QB can't throw the long ball from our 35.
  3. Take him out, now1 obvious limp. will not get better today.
  4. Both offenses incredibly anemic. Texas 24, UK 10. yards 425.
  5. You can't say he's being inconsistent, that is for sure. Always the same, always about more money. That famous FUPM picture is the first thing I think of. I. noticed he has 288 wins, so there's that. If he were to somehow be able to stay for the duration of the contract he could eclipse 300.
  6. This might be the post of the year! Stuff like this is why I love this board.
  7. What is the introduction of Dallas Mavs starting lineup theme song from 2011? I heard it just now on ABC telecast of Florida vs. LSU. Evidently there are some lyrics to this piece. I might have heard "putting in the work".... thx
  8. I think I finally won this thing? Have come really close a couple of times. Missed total points by 11...7 for us and 4 for them. Missed margin of victory by only 3. I guess a case could be made for the guy who picked us 15 to them 14? He missed points by 9, but his margin of victory was off by quite a bit, missing by 9 points. I think margin of victory is more important than total points away from total?
  9. There's my 2 first downs. if we run three plays and punt, pigs only have about 2 minutes left.
  10. twice in a row out of bounds. We're gonna get about 2 first downs and punt.
  11. 1983, number one defense in the country. Shitty QB/offensive play all year, mostly because Fred was somehow convinced he did not need a full-time OC. One game en route to 11-0 we beat TCU 21-14 I think, and our D outscored our O. 2 defensive TDs. Got lucky with McIvor having the game of his life to beat A and M 45-13. Georgia was ready for McIvor in CB, but most likely did not prepare for R. Morschell, great running QB. Texas receivers acted like they were allergic to the ball, as in they dropped a bunch of passes, etc. If Fred had come in with Morschell in 2nd half to run the ball with option, I am convinced we easily win the game something like 13 to 3 or 13 to 10. Instead we messed around on O and ended up 9-3 before the worst play in Longhorn history, the punt against our D. Our D was so good Georgia decided to play field position and hope. Their hope worked out. Craig Curry tried to catch the punt because Jitter Fields yelled "you, you" at him, so he tried. Fumble, Georgia scores 3 or 4 plays later, they win 10-9. We didn't know it cost us the National Championship until after Miami upset Nebraska in Orange Bowl, one of the 5 best games I ever watched on TV. 31-30 and Osborn gained a ton of respect from just about everyone, because he could have kicked the extra point to tie the game and claim National Championship, but Osborn went for 2 to win the game.
  12. Can't complain about 54ish yards halfway through the 2nd quarter.
  13. If we just stop this drive and somehow get lucky and score a TD the game is over at halftime. Should be holding against pigs.
  14. Arkansas about to make this a game. We're playing with big trouble.
  15. sucks because he can't make a simple short throw, his feet mechanics are getting, worse it appears. Are we ready for Arch?
  16. Never been to Asia, saw somewhere Thailand is very beautiful and similar to Philippines in price. Which country has cleaner air and water? Thinking a tourist place like beach city Pattaya Thailand, which has about 350,000 people, comparing to Cebu City Philippines, population about 1,000,000. Thinking of a 10 day vacation in January in a year or two.
  17. I still can't understand the greatness that is Datapoint Taquiera. For $9.99 on the special, just now, a sizzling plate of chicken fajitas went down. I mean burn your mouth hot! nice side of salad, with some fresh avacado, their cold salsa is some of the best I ever eaten. I always ask for a 2nd little bowl of that stuff. Compared to competitors their chips are fresh. If only I could remember to order double beans instead of rice. Rice does nothing for me, but I eat it anyway. Tea included with the price! Today they even had some other specials listed for $8.99. I could have ordered an $8.99 enchiladas special to take home for the wife, if I had thought of it.
  18. Thanks for the tip. Fredericksburger is up next.
  19. in the last six weeks I finally found the best burger near me, medical area SA. Teddy Bs. Literally googled best burger near me, found it, a 4.6 I think and it was awesome. Only one problem. Came home and googled again for whatever reason and found article they were closing end of October. I ate there one more time before they closed. funny though, went next door to gas station and found the largest can of sprite ever for me, a 16 oz. Plenty. I have already found the best Tex-mex near me with Datapoint Tacqueira. Still on the prowl for best burger. Not high standards, just a really good fresh burger, w/cheese, fries don't matter anymore. prefer good price, but not a killer. It is good to know that the rating was correct. Don't eat out much, probably once every two weeks.
  20. Super hard game to predict. The other day's win was too easy. I will go with Good guys 27 Piggies 14. 265 yards.
  21. their QB has been very consistent in the fact that he throws 2 ints per game. He did that for us. If we had an offense with a flip that night we would have won, I think.
  22. Rust and the number 19 keep coming up in my head. I'll go with Texas 28 and OU 19 Rushing yards Texas - 121 OU ...............................129 spread of -8. Really should be the best game of the year. I think Georgia will be a rout for us, assuming injuries are not significant.
  23. If Sark doesn't take the points off the board, I nail our score. Can't explain the greatness of Arch, other than to say he is the best longhorn backup QB ever! Before yesterday that honor went to Rick McIvor, who holds the honor of the strongest arm in Texas history. If Rick had competent QB coaching and a decent scheme, he would have had a great career in the NFL. I sat on the student side one year and watched McIvor throw a deep ball-probably 50+ yards in the air against A and M that landed in the chest of a receiver and was dropped. . McIvor was so much better than the guys in front of him the receivers had trouble adjusting to his ball. I can't bear to rewatch it, but I don't know how many of his passes were dropped in the 1984 Cotton Bowl loss against Georgia. Never forget 10-9. You missed it by one Sark decision.
  24. The really great thing is that we started slow, but at least our offense fulfilled its potential in the 2nd half, IF YOU DON'T COUNT the mental errors: 1. Sark taking points off the board 2. turnover 3. offensive line penalties. I am a little bit optimistic the D can relearn how to tackle and wrap up. We have a bye week, hope the D hears all two weeks how they can't tackle and fixes the problem.
