  1. We have less penalty yards than Ark. Refs are gonna take care of that shortly.
  2. don't even worry about asking for an 8 minute drive. Just keep scoring. If it takes 59 or 66 points, so be it.
  3. not only that, but OU's holding call was early in the game, when it really mattered. Too many times I have seen a call given to us after the game is over.
  4. looks like we win 41 to 38
  5. another 3rd and longhorn
  6. only pointing that because there have been 0 defensive plays by us?
  7. good PBU according to Rod
  8. play with no linebackers?
  9. he should go for two.. we won't stop it.
  10. does Bobby go for two?
  11. 1st and goal ARK will score on the next play.
  12. omg, we got to 3rd down?
  13. Who gets 2nd half kickoff?
  14. from wiki "The No Punt Game is the nickname given to a National Football Leaguegame held between the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers on September 13, 1992 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, California. The game was the first in NFL history to see no punts by either team, as the Bills and 49ers, led by quarterbacks Jim Kelly and Steve Young, respectively, combined for 1,086 total yards of offense, with both quarterbacks passing for over 400 yards." didn't find any specific college game.
  15. could this be one of the few no punt games in CFB history?
  16. maybe we hold them to another FG?
  17. I retired earlier this year, joined a running club in SA. I am way, way out of shape. Got two things against me, overweight and old. In August I could not run a half mile without stopping. After training with the running club, San Antonio Road Runners, we are getting close to the December 5th SATX 5k. It will be run at night. This morning ran a "preview run". total misnomer imo, as it was only a preview for the half-marathon folks. We ran during the daylight for a change, and it was below 70 degrees. I improved significantly...ran the entire course without stopping, and completed in 42 minutes for a pace of about 13:40 per mile. Goal is now to finish the December 5th 5k in 43 minutes or less. Already paid for the winter training(January through March) and the goal for the end of season run on April 19th will be somewhere in the 38 to 40 minute area. I don't feel a runner's high like I used to, but I am feeling a lot better especially after doing something like I did today.
  18. the only that will surprise me is winning by more than 3 points. I think this might be one of those 4 overtime games.
  19. Thanks a bunch!
  20. dang, I can't find the post about the restaurant in Austin that will smoke a brisket for you for $1 per pound. I thought it was from this thread, looked back a year and a half. Can somebody help with this? thx
  21. recommendation for best Korean BBQ, AYCE?
  22. On second thought, why not Ole Miss? Lane Kiffin drama would drive Georgia and Alabama people nuts, and have they ever won a NC before?
  23. so, I looked at the box score. Barkley evidently needed more yards to get the over. I saw that the U/O was 72.5. He finished with 83 yards. Just watching the highlights, Barkley gained 8 yards after the penalty on a 3rd and 8 with 57 seconds left on the clock. Not 100% rigged, but pretty close to evidence Barkley needed a bit more yards to get the over.
