  1. Definitely not just you. And there was a really impressive, utter lack of security in those tunnels, to the point it was laughable. Imagine running around in deserted tunnels beneath the white house, till you come to a door and then presto, you're inside the West Wing.
  2. Perfectly fair, and we can point that out without inserting presumed political motives into the discussion, because doing so is to actually inject your own political stance on the matter by attacking someone else's, which is always the real objective. This thread has been refreshingly non-CR and I've appreciated that.
  3. Respectfully, please stop projecting this onto posters, onto the conversation. Nobody's talking about Baldwin's politics except those who keep presuming it as some ulterior motive for holding him accountable.
  4. Have I mentioned how much fungi gross me out? Jesus.
  5. How any human being, anywhere can point a loaded gun at someone and pull the trigger, and not be responsible for knowing whether it's loaded or not would be beyond me.
  6. I'd imagine even the actors are held responsible for ensuring their weapon isn't loaded with live rounds before they start shooting all over the place. If so, then he was negligent.
  7. So we're probably talking about a single action revolver and the dumbass had his finger depressing the trigger without realizing it so when he pulled the hammer...boom. And that would explain why he thinks he didn't "pull" the trigger. Seems like fault would have to lie with whoever loaded the weapon. But the actors ought to be trained to check them anyway.
  8. I don't know why I was thinking that they weren't shooting (film) when this happened. Somehow got it in my head he was horsing around and was pretending to shoot at someone. Seems like if the were filming there'd be no question as to whether he pulled the trigger.
  9. I don't know why he'd have reason to believe there's a live round in a gun on set. But I can't imagine there's any reason in the world he'd be pointing it at a cinematographer. His claim that he didn't pull the trigger seems absurd.
  10. If they didn't give 'em to us in the boat-sex scene or the shower in episode two, then apparently she isn't showing those things off anymore. Shame.
  11. The Yorkshire accent Bella used in GoT was so thick it sounded like a speech impediment. Hearing her adopt an American accent is bizarre.
  12. He said the murder "scene" as in location, not a film scene in which the cinematographer gets whacked.
  13. Anybody arguing Deion wasn't guilty of PI on that play in '94 is just being dishonest, or they're in a clinical-level of denial. That doesn't mean, by any stretch, that Dallas wins that game if it's called properly. Would've had an opportunity, but we were down by 10 and there's no way to know if San Fran's offense would've answered that score once the pressure was really on them. But it's an all-time blown call because it denied Dallas a chance that they deserved. I couldn't be more excited for this weekend because I really believe we're gonna bust 'em in the mouth. I expect it'll be a close game but I think Quinn will find ways to make Purdy's life miserable and as good as SF's defense is, Dallas' offense is one of the best in the league. Goddamn I can't wait. If we didn't have this bi-polar thing we do so frequently I'd be even more confident.
  14. Also seems to me like openly incinerating the fungus infected bodies would be a colossally bad idea.
  15. I'm nearly phobic when it comes to fungi. Creeps me out beyond what I can express. So at least that adds to the horror element for me.
  16. The unlimited supply of bullets in TV/Movie guns has always been a thing, but I think I get even more annoyed when a semi-automatic pistol keeps "clicking" every time they pull the trigger after emptying a magazine. Amazing how the firing pin keeps getting reset despite the weapon not discharging.
  17. Ah, you're right. I've got the AMC+ thing through Amazon. Finished the 2nd episode last night, still enjoying it. Like Interview, it's such a departure from the books I don't know exactly where they're going or how they're gonna get there, so that's cool. The books were great. Daddario is amazing looking 36.
  18. I'm not expecting to get near the pressure on Purdy that we kept Brady under all night, but I do think if we can hit his ass a few a times and get him off schedule, the inexperience and playoff pressure will work hugely to our advantage. That's just common sense, I know, but it's easier said than done. Ideally, pressuring him into some bad throws that turn into a couple of picks would be just what the doctor ordered. Then all we need is NY to upset the iggles and boom, we're back in Arlington for a chance at a Super Bowl. Sounds simple enough to me.
  19. Maher has been so damn good this year, I can see chalking it up to case of the shanks that he'll shake off and get back to form. Bringing a guy in cold off the street is probably just as much of a risk.
  20. Nuke this thread if there's already one but I sure couldn't find it. I've watched the the first episode and half the second. Enjoying it so far more than I did Interview/Vampire. Daddario is always a treat, and Huston's an interesting choice for Lasher.
  21. Brady appears to get pretty damn childish when frustrated/angry. That was a pathetic display from him.
