  1. The numbers in that article are suspect. Also, it says Bama had a 45.2% hit rate, but the number is 10/42, which is actually 23.8% If you look at some of the numbers for other schools, it uses the same (5-star first rounders/5 star recruits) and has more accurate numbers listed. Shit, even Florida and Clemson have higher numbers there.
  2. This is suspect, how did they define the hit rate? Bama has had a lot of guys not pan out, but they bring in so many decently vetted 5 stars that they hit on enough to look good.
  3. If you were to list all of the guys involved in those videos OTF would probably have 4 or 5 of the top 7. Bobby has by far the most connections in the industry and at Texas, Gerry has the most connections as far as the HS landscape. CJ isn't a finished product, but the effort is apparent. I enjoy most of their content I get a chance to listen to. IT is full of undeserved egos. I've never been able to stomach much of anything OB or Chip Brown/Taylor Gaspar put out.
  4. FIFY He's well above average since he's been starting for most of his career. He also has nearly 40k passing yards and a 2.7:1.1 career TD to INT ratio. He's also above average amongst starting NFL QBs. He also isn't getting that kind of money to be a starting NFL QB on a team entering his age 36 season if he isn't above average. He is and who is and people who matter clearly value his previous and potential contributions to a team as a starter. He's not a super bowl caliber QB on his own, but he would be an upgrade over most starting QBs in the league. Shit, Baker just got $100M to give you an idea of the market
  5. He's up there with WIlliams for sure and he's a tier or two higher than everyone else at the position for us this year.
  6. His frame says TE, but he has the athleticism to stick at WR. If he can maintain that body control after +30 lbs, he's a freak TE.
  7. Shedrick is a big reason why they are still in this game. Even with all the threes they’re hitting
  8. Man, that's the best part. It gives it more meaning when you see guys like Ennis Rakestraw have success or those like Tunmise Adeyele find an orange jumpsuit.
  9. I would take Kelshaun Johnson, Kaliq Lockett, Emmanuel Choice, and maybe even Tanook Hines before Marcus Harris. But I get the Mater Dei connection.
  10. Ffrench coming in on April 6th is a really big deal if he makes the trip. Big time offensive targets, including KJ Lacey, coming in that day.
  11. A potential bully getting bullied on social media? How ironic. I'm sure OU will gladly take him.
  12. Maybe I missed it, but who got the GM job if he's assistant? Brandon Harris
  13. To definitively say Sweat was more impactful than Murphy is very suspect analysis. Murphy regularly pushed/collapsed the pocket even while getting held on multiple occasions. He's young but mature for his age, plays with leverage, great motor and short area quickness, and he's got a strong set of pass rush moves. Apparently backing up his tape with high level workout numbers too. Sweat was also very good, but was more of a flash player on key downs instead of a constant problem. With his sheer size, length, and strength, you would think he would be more consistently dominant when you consider the quality of OL he faced. He also has the lazy/unmotivated tag on him, so he has to overcome the questions about his previous years.
  14. I get the vast majority of my orders the next day. Maybe you live in a tough area for Amazon?
  15. Both of those guys have been to the CFP at least once, and one of them, Fisher, has won a title. However, if you meant "at their current school", then you could add Kalen DeBoer to that list as well.
  16. He’s not the twitchiest guy, but if he learns to combine his leverage with his eventual strength, he’s gonna be a big problem. He’s winning with sheer grit right now He's not a first rounder yet unless he takes a major jump this year.
  17. It's clearly not 20 lbs of pure muscle you morons. He went from 220ish to 240ish in weight period. As long as it's good weight, who fucking cares what percentage of it is muscle or whatever else.
  18. Even if that’s unequivocally what happened, we have no idea how the idea would have turned out. Interesting dynamic to see GP in Waco…
  19. I actually don’t remember that guy at all, looks like he was originally offered by the old staff. How in the Kris Ross do you go from 6-1 220 as a recruit to 5-11 207 after a few years of college S&C and nutrition?
  20. It's okay to not get super defensive when someone disagrees with you. Baxter has good hands, Blue has elite hands and better route running ability for a RB. Baxter's ability to handle running in between the tackles and pass protection is what got him on the field early and often. Brooks took it from him after it was clear he was more effective and Baxter was dinged up. Blue came on initially due to necessity, but Sark/Choice definitely began to trust him more as the year went on and he produced when called upon. They'll both be featured next year.
  21. Baxter is plenty fast. Blue is just crazy fast. If Baxter can learn to maintain his balance and run through people with his increased size and speed, he'll be exceptional. He showed flashes of that last year.
  22. Max came up huge down the stretch of this one!
