  1. That's right on the edge of ineligible downfield, Big 12 refs would have reviewed it from every angle and rounded up to fuck us over.
  2. Worthy is unguardable one on one. Almost a lock for the first round next year. He makes the game easier for everyone else with the attention he draws. AD was the beneficiary of that last night. Neyor can play, but we don't need to put him out there just yet. I have a feeling he'll get extended looks next week against his former team.
  3. We didn't have an AD Mitchell to take advantage of Worthy's double/triple teaming last year. That was essentially how teams slowed us down tremendously last year. Love him, but JWhitt isn't that guy. Quinn is also locked in. If they keep him clean as he develops his pocket presence, this will be a very very fun season and a NYC trip for Quinn.
  4. Especially Jamarion Miller. It was nice to see him get smacked by Kitan Crawford.
  5. Burrow did that cigar thing after winning the national title, but Ewers made himself some serious money tonight so enjoy yourself tonight. And do it again next week
  6. I kept saying he was like an Adrian Martinez. Martinez can actually read defenses a bit though.
  7. If he blitzes, he’ll be exposing the D (phrasing) way more than Saban would like. Quinn/Sark is also good against the blitz. The worst case scenario is where they are able to consistently get pressure with 4 or fewer rushers. That was one of the bigger issues against Arkansas
  8. The only saving grace is that it is game 1, but Conner isn’t gonna magically become more athletic. Throwing Neto in there could create cohesion issues, especially on the road. Whichever lineup presents the most consistency overall should be played, even if the “average performance” is a bit lower.
  9. They aren’t gonna take Sanders off the field much, he’s our X-factor. But they might use Cook to spell Worthy after a deep route/deep crosser/long punt return Anyone else see Jaylon Ford lining up and rushing off the edge against Rice? I have a feeling we’re gonna confuse the hell out of Proctor in this game.
  10. Yea, they’ll probably try to man up on Mitchell with koolaid. General public seems to be underestimating our receivers against their secondary.
  11. Those arms are long as hell. Broad shoulders too. If only he were twitchier. Still a good get.
  12. They will have to throw the ball to win the game. Hopefully our run defense will allow us to defend the pass without making it too easy for Milroe. I think the best run defense will be a strong early scoring offense though. We score in bunches early, and their execution window becomes very tight. I believe Milroe crumbles under that pressure. Of course, we could always just knock Milroe out of the game in the first quarter…
  13. Quinn tempted fate more than needed on some of his scrambles, but he’ll learn. He’s definitely showing heart on his scrambles
  14. He’s not as nimble or shifty as Miller was, especially pre-injury. I think Adrian Martinez is a good comp for him.
  15. On the road too. Glad we didn’t move up, we need all the disrespect we can get to add even more fuel to the fire.
  16. We will. We had plenty of success using it against Rice, but we didn’t need to show our best stuff to get that win.
  17. You guys are acting like Quinn had a horrible game. You guys are also acting like his performance this past Saturday is indicative of all he can do this year. Pretty sure he hit a deep ball to Worthy against Bama last year and Worthy dropped another one that was a dime. I’m more concerned about the unpressured throw he made to JT that hit him on the side of the helmet. Timing was bad, and there were better options available. The deep pass out of bounds to Worthy was also concerning. The play where he bailed to his right on 3rd down and slipped was also a concern. Hopefully he finds his stride this week and the OL lets him take advantage of it. There will be plenty of opportunities with all the mano a mano Saban relies on.
  18. I pray that some of you are not responsible for making any decisions that impact me or anyone I care about
  19. Yea, I wish Saban was a UT fan too Nash is being too kind to QE as well, Quinn had an average game, but we had at least above average expectations. He looked jittery back there. Not as bad as Card did/does at Purdue, but much more jittery than he should be for this team to go anywhere significant.
  20. You don't seem too bright, so I'll disengage from here. Enjoy your unfounded indignance
