  1. I was always curious as to what his coaching rolodex actually looks like. He hasn't really been anywhere for a long time and he has a reputation as an asshole. People will follow an asshole if they think it'll benefit their career, but he's an unproven coach heading into a very difficult situation from an expectations vs reality standpoint.
  2. Nah. Jeremiah Smith is a true freshman baller coming in. They have some really good young guys on campus right now too. He was one of the inevitable high 4-star/5 star receivers they get that didn't pan out. He actually got a lot of PT, but never really became a top target.
  3. He was in the portal or was about to portal last year, but either took his name out or never actually entered. He was loud during the 2022 recruiting cycle and he hasn't done a thing at A&M. I don't think he even plays special teams. Money well spent.
  4. Why is a current player on A&M's team putting his name on statements like that? That's fucking wild. I know Bobby Taylor is a loudmouth, but I can only imagine what's going on behind the scenes if he feels comfortable enough to speak out like that.
  5. Apparently they didn't want to guarantee him the job for the bowl game or for next season. They are also very high on Lincoln Kienholz.
  6. This. We'll be fortunate to get him under $10m, especially if we win the title. At the same time, you don't want to make it easy for someone else to come take him. Keep him and his people happy.
  7. Get in the motherfucker
  8. He's building a brand/followers. He's already done very well for himself from where he began.
  9. This team is peaking at the right time, Sark has done a hell of a coaching job this year and has the program primed for a multi-year run. Loved his story and the hunger in his eyes from the start. Add in his superpower offensive capabilities and the staff hires, now you're cooking with gas. Recruits his ass off, does the dirty work, and maintains poise throughout. Glad he's a horn, and I hope he has the continued success to merit a 20 year run. Let's make that dream a reality, 2 more wins!
  10. Do you know who you're responding to?
  11. Smarter than you think, ha
  12. He's been off the team for a year. JUCO i think
  13. There's no way Strong would come back to Texas after feeling like he was somehow wronged here. PK probably gets to have a big say in who replaces Choate though
  14. He's getting a big extension. I could see it being an additional 3-5 years at $9mil annually. His agent will want to strike while the iron's hot and we shouldn't do anything to make him feel slighted. The way Michigan treated Harbaugh before he started going crazy these last 3 years (post new contract) was not a good look for them. He's still underpaid. We're better than that. Doesn't need to be a long contract, but he needs to get paid.
  15. the prince that was promised has delivered he will go down as a legend if he brings home a national title this year
  16. Sucks to lose to OU, but we clearly got the win that mattered most this year
  17. Has Louisville never heard of WR bunch sets? This is some horrible play design
  18. Draft position was only one of the considerations. His group believes he hasn't played enough ball to have a long successful career in the NFL. The Pete Thamel tweet was very telling there. His play to end this season will only make his offseason hype that much greater. He could be a top 5 projected pick going into next year.
  19. Dentists fuck like anyone else. A girl doesn't have to be dumb for her to put out.
  20. Agreed. Blue is too good to let go. Best hands, speed, and route running of the group. Runs tough enough between the tackles, but he has more utility than K-Rob.
  21. Agreed. Quinn played his ass off, moved in the pocket, and moved through his progressions enough to make big plays in critical moments.
  22. His vision is improving with more carries. It is not easy to play RB if you haven't done it much before.
  23. Sark called a hell of a game for Quinn today. He still missed some throws, but also showed great poise in the pocket today.
  24. Brooks is probably gone. Blue and Baxter likely stay, we'll see about Red. Wisner, Clark, and Gibson. That's 6 guys if Brooks leaves. I like Red's upside and competitive nature. But he's probably the odd man out. We'll see if Gibson ends up in the class or not too.
