  1. The biggest gripe here is Sark has gone away from the run. Quinn is still mindfucked, don't take the cheese and put the game in his hands dude.
  2. The outcome isn't always indicative of the process. People have been tiptoeing around Quinn's lack of work ethic since spring camp. He's even mentioned his insufficient practice habits on a couple of occasions. Maybe he'll learn and at least work hard enough to be above average next year. Ideally, he would work his ass off and come closer to his potential while he's a longhorn. Either way, the guy coming in next year won't likely have the same issue. So we will see how things go. Sark needs to figure out how to make the most of what Quinn does well, then build from there.
  3. He wanted to go somewhere he thought other big time players would go. Our class was trash at the time and they were building momentum behind the scenes. Even after our class finally started coming together, A&M had big time guys committing left and right.
  4. Hey! We actually agree here! But surly would definitely have a fit about unimaginative playcalling and not giving Quinn and the receivers a chance to do enough. Sark made a call and it failed, he’ll learn from it or he won’t and he’ll eventually fail here. I saw it as, we were getting stopped in the running game. We were generally stopping ourselves in the passing game. Either way it failed, but I can see why he did what he did. Would have liked finding more ways to run the ball in Stillwater though
  5. The same people who are crying about us not running enough are the same people who would be crying about us being too conservative for going 44 rushes for 58 yards against instead of 22 for 28 Surly gonna surly. Part of what makes being a fan so fun though, everyone’s an expert when they aren’t doing it themselves.
  6. If Arterio starts penetrating confidently and aggressively like he has for much of his prep career, this becomes unstoppable. He and Hunter move differently out there. Like the improved shooting he's shown thus far.
  7. This kid is insanely good, changes speeds extremely well and you have to respect his pull up game. Finishes well around the basket too, his games are fun to watch
  8. And Caleb Williams has leadership qualities along with freakish athletic gifts. He was also surrounded by pretty good talent and a strong OL. You could tell Caleb elevated that team though. I think Quinn has that potential and I like the fact that he's getting more engaged emotionally, but it's long way to go to get to where CW is right now. He's got all the same distractions as Quinn too.
  9. injuries and lack of depth killed us against OkSt. And Kitan Crawford doing Kitan Crawford things.
  10. He's a straight line athlete. Couldn't stick in coverage when asked to change direction
  11. Didn't Rogers visit us last week for TCU?
  12. JFC Caleb Williams Even if Quinn becomes QB1 good next year, how in the world do you pass on this guy?
  13. Ewers' issues are between the ears. He's hit a wall and has yet to recover. If he puts in the work to improve, then he'll have a chance. The Manning chants will come quickly if he struggles next year.
  14. Flood is also going to be here as long as Sark is, maybe they can play off each other a bit more going forward.
  15. The ppg doesn't explain how bad the D was last year. They gave up 100 yard rushers just about every week. And it wasn't the kind of 100 yard rusher like Miller was against us last week. It was consistent gashes late in games that led to long drives and even more tired players giving up bigger runs. We're controlling gaps on the regular this year, and the edge is holding up far more often than not. The confidence and coordination is starting to allow us to be more exotic and look like some of PKs UW defenses. They'll probably look better next year if they can figure out the interior DL and safety personnel.
  16. He's had everyone calling him the golden boy for the past 3ish years. I'm sure his entire family has been thinking NFL for a while now.
  17. He's not ready. He'd look foolish out there with his WIP mechanics
  18. To be fair, TCU's front played out of their minds against us. Multiple guys wilted under the pressure of that game. Bijan and the defense are calming any potential storms right now. Special teams needs to step it up though
  19. Pretty clutch drive there. TCU is charmed af. Shapen choked it down the stretch
  20. Shapen should have sprinted for the first down. He would have had it
  21. TCU has only run 44 plays...
