  1. Picked up this pair at Rod Patrick’s in Ft Worth yesterday. Wife picked up a pair of rough outs. She wasn’t planning on getting anything but found an old school pair she couldn’t resist. Hanging in the backyard with a Marzen beer listening to Maggie’s Song by Stapleton while smoking some baby back ribs for the super bowl. Tossing the ball for my dogs as my german shepherd steals a couple laps of my marzen. Great fucking day.
  2. From the article: The proposed bill—which comes amid an ongoing labor shortage in Iowa Good thing we demonize immigrants.
  3. The panel took a couple bong hits during the last commercial break. Fortunately they have a bucket of foodstuffs within arm’s reach.
  4. Second best. You produced a few pics of your wife on the beach. Who knew Maui had such demand for propane and propane accessories.
  5. I’m guessing antisocial personality disorder Per the Mayo Clinic site Antisocial personality disorder signs and symptoms may include: Disregard for right and wrong - brazen lying Persistent lying or deceit to exploit others - ummm, yeah Being callous, cynical and disrespectful of others - hasn’t exhibited this to my knowledge Using charm or wit to manipulate others for personal gain or personal pleasure - heard a few people here say he’s charming Arrogance, a sense of superiority and being extremely opinionated - hasn’t exhibited this to my knowledge Recurring problems with the law, including criminal behavior - ponzi scheme, theft in brazil, stealing money from the veteran with the dying dog Repeatedly violating the rights of others through intimidation and dishonesty - haven’t seen him intimidate anyone, yet Impulsiveness or failure to plan ahead - brazen lying Hostility, significant irritability, agitation, aggression or violence - hasn’t exhibited this to my knowledge. This personality disorder also includes psychopaths Lack of empathy for others and lack of remorse about harming others - ponzi scheme, theft Unnecessary risk-taking or dangerous behavior with no regard for the safety of self or others - brazen lying Poor or abusive relationships - I remember he said he had a boyfriend weeks ago but that guy just kinda disappeared Failure to consider the negative consequences of behavior or learn from them - pretty much all the lying, theft he’s done for years Being consistently irresponsible and repeatedly failing to fulfill work or financial obligations - ponzi scheme fits into this Sociopaths and psychopaths are also categorized as antisocial personalities. There are degrees of antisocial behavior along a spectrum. People with borderline personality disorder exhibit extreme anger. I haven’t seen this with Santos.

  7. This is why I take the strategy of using the same words with all unused letters each game until the letters reveal themselves. The guessing game of “which letter am I missing” drove me to wahlberg my phone one too many times.

  11. Stumbled across this place doing a google search. Saw a pair that I like. My wife and I are going to head to Ft Worth this weekend to check the place out. I appreciate the recommendation on the place.

  13. Don’t sleep on Waimea Canyon. You access the drive from the south side of the island using Waimea Canyon Drive. There’s several spots to pull over and take in the views. The road eventually turns into Kokee State Park Rd and ends at Pu’u o Kila lookout. The lookout gives a view of the north side’s napali coast. The only hiking necessary to see these sites depends on the parking situation at the end of Kokee State Park Rd. I’ve been there twice. One time, parking was very easy and it was a short walk to the overlook. The second time, the parking lot was full, and we had to walk about a mile on the road to the overlook.
  14. Seriously though, any thoughts on quality or fit of Overlands? I’ve only had one pair of boots in my life; they’re Luchesse. I sized up to an 11 1/2 as they felt great and still do. However, the instep is too small on my right foot. Not sure how the Luchesse instep compares to other makers.
  15. To my untrained eye, I like the aesthetics of these. You didn’t happen to order a pair did you?

Saw them at Trees in June 1993. The opening was Tim swinging upside down back and forth across the stage strung up by his feet. I was all… Caught them last year in Aug at Kessler. Everyone was right-side up throughout the entire show.
  18. I was in Boston last week and had dinner at Alden and Harlow near Harvard. I’m in love with this milk stout from Mast Landing.

In my experience, albeit a long time ago, the pullouts are “downhill”. If you’re traveling the route counterclockwise, “downhill” will be on your right side. When you pull back onto the road, you’ll be making a right turn.

The drive on the northern route has all the trails and waterfalls. The Maui Revealed book cautions about the southern route. I’ve driven the northern route once with the return using the southern route. On a successive trip, I drove the southern route there and back. The southern route is a much quicker drive, no traffic and the road was in good shape. I don’t know why there was caution on using it. It’s also pretty straight so there’s less risk of car sickness. The southern route is completely different than the northern route; it’s volcanic with very little vegetation. I’ve done haleakela twice. The first time was too foggy to see anything. The second time was amazing. if I only had time to do one or the other, I’d do both. Haleakala at sunrise then take the southern route to the seven falls then turn around and take the southern route back. You’d miss the hikes on the northern route but there’s lots of waterfalls to see in hawaii. I did these drives in 2006 and 2010 so I’m not sure if anything has changed about the southern route’s road conditions.
  21. Yeah. The price for the New Order tix in Dallas are a non-starter. I mean I like them but come the fuck on.
