  1. Will there be a pop quiz about the 2 corinthians?
  2. Something similar happened to me about 10 years ago. My tax preparer told me someone had filed a return for me. I owed $10k or so. I learned that 80% of IRS staffers’ time is spent dealing with identity theft issues. IRS now sends me a new PIN every year in Jan that I use when submitting my return.
  3. There’s money to be made with these people. I wish they would be more specific about where they do their research so that it’s clear where to target marketing.
  4. CW is actually a really nice guy. A buddy and I went to the Iowa St game in Nov 2020. OU was enforcing social distancing and so groups of 4-ish people were seated together with 4 vacant seats between groups. During the game a number of people came down and had their picture taken with a guy in the group seated beside us. After several people had come down, I ask my buddy if we should know the guy. My buddy doesn’t really have a filter and leans over and asks who he is. It was Caleb. We chat off and on with him the rest of the game. My buddy gets Caleb’s number, and they text back and forth for a few months. As Caleb and his family were leaving the game, he tells us he enjoyed meeting us. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy.
  5. This reminds me of a seafood buffet we went to in honolulu based on a recommendation from Oahu Revealed. My wife was cracking crab legs for me at a furious pace while I scarfed them down. I got my money’s worth and then some.
  6. I have tickets for that show too. However, I gotta travel to KC for a work day trip so I’m gonna miss it. Won’t land until 9:30. Bummer.
  7. My wife likes to watch Gilmore Girls in the fall. She had it on, and I became aware of this… And he can act!
  8. Yep. They played The Weight just before closing with Astrovan.
  9. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Their studio stuff doesn’t do their live performance justice. I was expecting something more folk-ish. Their live performance was more complex. It had a great and interesting mix of jam band and keyboards. The video board was a trip. The audience was 20’s and got into what I assume were their hits. I found the songs where audience members held up their phones to be the least interesting; still good songs though. They played two sets and an encore. They closed with Astrovan. I enjoyed the first set the most because that’s where they surprised me with the jam band vibe. I’d definitely see them again.
  10. Only use case is for small payloads
  11. Like any good software person, I discovered a bug after deploying to production. Whiteboard frame was fucked up. Where’s QA?
  12. I tried grabbing trump from his image but his navy blazer blended too much with the navy background. It also looked way too shopped. Guilfoyl’e’s background is complex as well. It just ain’t worth the effort with very basic tools I have.
  13. I’m not familiar with them either but I’ve had Astrovan on my phone for years. Saw they were coming to town and picked up tickets after listening to a few other tunes. I’m doing my part to support live music as the pandemic likely stripped many musicians of their primary source of income. I’ve hit 30 shows this year.
  14. How was it? I’ve got ‘em Fri night in Irving.
  15. Last week, the wife and I went to el paso to catch foo fighters and the breeders. foo fighters’ background video board was a great backdrop.
  16. I have the Wallflowers tonight in dallas at longhorn ballroom.
  17. Headed to the show in El Paso once I get off this fucking conference call.
  18. Undead checking in
  19. Fuck that. He’d take the money and still run, all while feeding the cult that the deep state and evil democrats are plotting against him. Dotard needs to die or be in prison.
  20. I’m in the enterprise software biz. I suspect NC uses an ERP like SAP for HR, ADP for payroll, and accepts credit cards for residents to pay for car registrations. These could all be argued as contractors and be subject to home entry by the gestapo. I suspect this has caught the attention of the corporate attorneys for these software companies. I would be great to see these companies unplug the software and endpoints the day after this goes into effect. NC would burn to the ground within a week.
