  1. We're actually more likely to have a problem with underpopulation within the next century.
  2. You don’t have to agree with National Review’s politics to acknowledge that they have pretty consistently called out the events of January 6 and the entire election fraud narrative. And I don’t know that I would count them as Trump supporters either. Just a random sampling from a quick search. https://www.nationalreview.com/2022/01/anniversary-of-a-disgrace/ https://www.nationalreview.com/the-morning-jolt/a-dark-day-in-america/ https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/11/trump-election-fraud-disgraceful-endgame/ https://www.nationalreview.com/2021/09/another-defeat-for-election-truthers/
  3. I had hot dogs tonight. They were delicious.
  4. God, deliver us from straw men.
  5. No zeal at all. Clearly.
  6. You’re pretty confident about the extent of human knowledge for a guy who can’t successfully post on a message board.
  7. This is right on. You lost me here.
  8. 1. Texas football 2. Green Bay Packers 3. Houston Astros Gap 4. Texas basketball Big gap 5. All other Texas sports, which I cate about more abstractly than actually watch.
  9. If you need to shower twice a day, you must be filthy and/or extremely fat.
  10. I’d like more clarification from the op on what this is all about. Chad Morris was a very successful high school coach who moved to an effective college OC to HC at SMU where he improved every year to 2 dismal seasons at Arkansas. He’s fired and is back in high school. He was successful basically every step of the way till Arkansas and then he moved back down the ladder. I guess I don’t understand what we mean by an upward failure for him to “absolutely define the appellation.”
  11. I don’t even turn it up to 79 when I’m gone on vacation. If that makes me a gaping pussy, I don’t care. But I’m not on ERCOT either.
  12. That’s not just anecdotal-I read some research in the last few months that indicates the same thing. I’ll see if I can dig that up later.
  13. I’m pretty sure you misread that post.
  14. I know this isn’t your primary point, but that’s precisely why some people came to the New World: they not only wanted to escape persecution, they wanted to establish their own religion as official. Roger Williams in Rhode Island stands out as the early exception. Religious freedom as we think of it was foreign to them.
  15. Yeah, but they're Eagles fans. There's not a lot of daylight between him, Rich Kotite, and Chip Kelly if we are just talking relatively recent Eagles coaches. And none of those is even statistically their worst coach in my lifetime - that would be Marion Campbell. In fact, he's a great contender for the shortlist of worst ever: he went 34-80-1 across 9 seasons (including 2 stints with Atlanta! How did he get hired again???). He has the worst winning percentage of any NFL coach with over 100 games.
  16. Ray Rhodes is a strange choice to lump in with those guys. He was basically just a mediocrity.
  17. Read some more of her stuff. She’s clearly not a Republican.
  18. Lexington. And that’s the point. He leaves there in the last episode. His daughter is just a few months old. Fast forward 4 years in the epilogue, he’s in Miami, and she appears to be 4-5 years old. Which makes sense. Now we are another 4 years after that, and she’s suddenly 15. Even if you assume he didn’t leave Kentucky immediately (though it’s pretty clear in the finale he is) and stretch it out to him somehow just having left there in the epilogue, she can’t be more than about 12.
  19. The timeline doesn’t make sense. His daughter has aged a decade in the last 4 years.
  20. Better than your NFL one.
