  1. Only if you make your salsa with (stale) bread and olive oil.
  2. 90+% of those over 50 have received at least one dose. 80% between 50-64, 90% 65-74, and 85% of 75+ are fully vaccinated.
  3. Mine was a statement about CR.
  4. This also works as a statement.
  5. Yeah, I wasn't trying to incite any sort of debate about it. I literally found that interesting in terms of how threads can be read differently. I will add that the one guy I was alluding to was "Treynumbersdummy," as you put it, so we aren't on completely different pages.
  6. Interesting. I read the whole thread just now and only saw that from one guy. It seemed a pretty reasonable discussion to me.
  7. Not to mention that the Romans made a distinction between them at least as early as Nero.
  8. Umm…you have 1,462 posts as of this post and 397 rep.
  9. Coincidentally equivalent to 1 juiced Barry Bonds head.
  10. I thought a conflict of interest is when I want to go to a restaurant, but there’s a kid there.
  11. My wife (who is fully vaccinated and had COVID in September) went in a couple of weeks ago to get tested. Negative for COVID, positive for flu. She was VERY sick for about a week, much more so than with COVID actually. It’s definitely out there right now.
  12. NPR Reporting Merits Clarification
  13. Do they?
  14. What’s more interesting is I reread the thread and can’t find anyone claiming that.
  15. Most cloak room posters don’t read the thread before they post. It’s why you have to wade through the same links/stories/tweets posted multiple times. That’s probably a third of all posts on the really long threads. #bothsides
  16. I’ll have you know, sir, that I’m a cashless millennial doofus.
  17. Another annoying thing is people running those same phrases into the ground.
  18. Or a heart attack. Or massive stroke. Or an aneurysm. Or a pulmonary embolism. Or any number of other sudden causes of death that are way more common than murder (at the Ritz-Carlton, no less).
  19. One of the most interesting little pointers to this, I think, is how prior to the Civil War, the United States was a plural noun, but after, it’s singular. The switch from “are” to “is” speaks volumes about how the conception of the Union changed.
  20. That’s immediately after opening the can for me. I’d lose weight.
  21. And that’s as a true sophomore compared to a redshirt senior. People seriously underrate Ash.
  22. It actually is coincidental. It's Lee's birthday and predates MLK Day as a state holiday.
  23. I read the thread title and thought Tahoe had resurrected.
