  1. It read like one of Lobo’s bizarre jokes to me.
  2. Never trust a guy who thinks it’s a receiving “core.”
  3. There's zero reason for Thompson to transfer until after the season is over. Even if he could somehow get somewhere else and be eligible this late in the game (which is doubtful), his best chance at playing THIS fall is still right here, should Card get injured or just falter. Plus, that allows him a much better look at what other rosters look like in the Spring to pick the most advantageous situation for him. He could transfer out after the season, be wherever he is going for Spring ball, and still have 2 years of eligibility remaining with the additional year granted due to COVID. Basically, there's no upside to leaving now and plenty of incentive to stay.
  4. Everything depends on the severity of the injury. They can place him on IR now, but it means he’s done for the year. To be able to play again this season, you first have to make the 53 man roster and then be placed on IR. Given Wentz’s injury history, they’ll probably go that route if Ehlinger’s injury allows it. I’d say the practice squad is his least likely destination, because it means he has to be released first.
  5. That can happen, but he’d be ineligible to return this season unless he makes the 53 man roster first.
  6. That’s not what he did. That’s the point.
  7. He never said that. You’re the one spreading disinformation in this exchange. Anastasis is only guilty of pedantry, but that’s just typical surly.
  8. Plus with the extra COVID year of eligibility, there’s not much incentive to do that even if he hadn’t. Just like there’s not as much incentive to transfer NOW. Even if he loses the competition, it makes more sense to stick for the season and see how things shake out at other schools (or if Card falters, for that matter) and transfer in the Spring still with 2 seasons to play.
  9. Forcing them to prepare for 2 guys with a combined 2 quarters of action isn’t a thing.
  10. We’ve seen exactly one meaningful half of college football from both guys combined. Nobody here knows anything about what to expect.
  11. It’s still not good, but that 100% positive rate doesn’t mean “literally everybody has COVID.” It means that over the last 7 days, 100% of PCR tests have come back positive.
  12. Boyd Crowder deserves a mention.
  13. Isn’t it for sale even if it’s not Stallone’s home?
  14. You could take the second greatest player and have MJ/Peppers and that’s still as good or better than your other list.
  15. Hi, neighbor!
  16. Where's the rest of it?
  17. That Packers uni is a throwback, and they'll probably only wear it once a year. They've been wearing blue throwbacks more often than not for the last decade or so. I agree it's not a good look, though. (
  18. Well you can’t jelly a sword through someone’s skull. Wait, that’s a different joke.
  19. That would include a huge chunk of DFW too.
  20. And triple. That wasn’t even worth one post really, let alone three.
  21. Dp
  22. It did before ABS.
