  1. 3 goals for the Bruins is like 8 goals for other teams with how shit this offense is.
  2. 3 goals in the 3rd period….B’s win by the skin of their teeth. I’ll fucking take it.
  3. Enjoy it while it lasts. You could be rooting for a shit team like the Bruins….
  4. If any thread on this site deserves to be nuked, it’s this one. This guy will leave Texas and 3 years from now people will still be in here, arguing over a god damn throw against Florida. Fucking hell, people.
  5. Lil’ Nigel sounds like the illest British rapper to ever come out of Manchester.
  6. They never do, but sometimes reality is a tough pill to swallow.
  7. This guy is a fucking muppet. Enjoy playing at Nevada with the rest of the castoffs.
  8. These are never funny.
  9. These next two weeks will determine if Monty will be the head coach of the Bruins moving forward. We’ve six games, including two against an awful St Louis team. I think we need to walk away with at least 8 points during this stretch to maintain a playoff position by Thanksgiving. It’s fucking go time, B’s!
  10. Defense let me down at the end there. Nearly nailed this.
  11. Uhh did I read that correctly? The tiger is named Omar Bradley….who is naming these animals?
  12. My wife completed the Golden Gate Half this past weekend in SF. Really cool route and highly recommended for your next half marathon. She’s convinced me to run a half with her and we are eying the Montreal Half next September. Anyone have experience running this particular race?
  13. Dropping passes and not giving full effort on run blocking for a receiver that is maybe 5th in the rotation makes the coaches jobs very easy.
  14. I don’t think the coaching staff has been telling him that this year. Probably more along the lines of “get your fucking shit together or make sure the water bottles are full.”
  15. Good riddance. He’s lazy and an unreliable pass catcher. Give me Bolden and Moore all day over Cook.
  16. Spot on here. I don’t agree with Rogan on many issues but I do have to tip my cap to him in that he is always willing to sit down and listen to people, even if he disagrees with them. Even during the Trump interview, Trump kept saying that Kamala wouldn’t come on the show because she was afraid of being dismantled by Rogan for 3 hours. To his credit, Rogan corrected him multiple times saying that he wouldn’t do that and his only objective was to just have a conversation with her to get to know her. I think it was a mistake to not go on Rogan because his podcast reaches millions of people, people that are not tuning into SNL. You’re correct when you say that going on Rogan would have at least shown a willingness to connect with younger male voters.
  17. I’m reading a lot of posts here discussing how young men are too cowardly to interact with women and have become incels. While that certainly exists, it’s not as large of an issue imo as many are making it out to be. My perspective for why young men seem to be leaning more conservative is that they feel disconnected to identity politics as a whole. I think that if identity politics wasn’t such a large pillar of the Dem’s political agenda, you would see more young men sticking around the party. In my experience discussing politics with my friends, many feel it’s crazy to be worrying about identity politics when we have a ballooning government deficit with no end in sight, increased geopolitical tensions on just about every continent but North America, and continued economic pressures here at home. They feel like the Democratic Party has their priorities set on shit that just doesn’t matter relative to the other issues we are dealing with. These are not necessarily my views; however, I think it’s important to listen to their perspectives considering Trump just swept the popular vote, electoral college, the Senate, and are likely to win the House. I think just blatantly dismissing their perspectives has landed us in this situation and will only continue to grow the divide further.
  18. You bring up an interesting point about the idea of what a guy is. The women in my circle of friends (ages 25-31) are not as anti-masculine as many may believe they are. They are looking for men to step up and take charge, to make them feel safe and comfortable, and to not be afraid to be their authentic selves. But they also expect to be respected and listened to, and to have an equal say. It’s by no means an unreasonable expectation. I think most men my age understand that being masculine isn’t necessarily the issue, it’s more about developing more empathy and the ability to self-reflect on what kind of impact you are having on the people around you. I can only speak for my group of friends in the city that I live in. Maybe it differs for young men in Tampa.
  19. I don’t think this is as big of an issue as you make it out to be. I’m in my late 20s and I go out to bars in Boston and they are full of young people socializing. Sure, there are people on their phones but that’s just the reality of our modern society. Young people have to balance socializing in person and digitally. I don’t think this has anything to do with their voting preferences. We have to dig much deeper into why we are seeing young men leaning more conservative.
  20. I actually think we come out and smash their fucking faces in. This team 100% controls their own destiny and they know that. Hoping the week off has allowed everyone to recharge physically and mentally. Current spread is -21.5, and I think Texas covers. Give me 49-10 Texas.
  21. Holy fuck dude. Enjoy pissing out of your ass for the next 3 days.
