  1. Not only will we not have to watch Cedi, we will also no longer have to watch Champagnie. He has to be waived 35-40 wins?
  2. Show me a loss. If that pick swap is a 1st round pick that’s a nice deal. Add it to the war chest.
  3. Regardless of who it is, it means no more watching Cedi Osman. So that’s a win.
  4. Clearing salary for something. Rumors are Spurs will be involved in the Derozan to Sacramento trade in a 3 team trade. If we can get a role player like Huerter or Barnes it would be a nice addition.
  5. He’s been a Spur for a year and it still doesn’t feel real.
  6. Shoutout to Thamel tho. Now everyone can leave this thread and enjoy their holiday instead of wasting time here. Right?
  7. Lauri rumors. Would be an awesome addition although I wouldn’t want to lose Sochan or the Atlanta picks.
  8. Spurs targeting Batum. Would be another good vet probably on a short term deal.
  9. CP3 is a bitch but great stop gap signing to mentor the kids.
  10. https://www.expressnews.com/sports/spurs/article/spurs-draft-night-trade-says-refusal-think-small-19547166.php?utm_campaign=CMS Sharing Tools (Premium)&utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral
  11. This is probably generous. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the best player in this draft ends up being the 18th pick or something.
  12. After sleeping on it I feel good about trading away 8 in a weak draft. My guess is they wanted Salaun with the 8th but Charlotte took him early. Up to 4 first round picks in next years draft realistically probably 3) which is supposed to be stacked. 2 of those picks may be top 10. Rather save a roster spot for that draft or free agency.
  13. Those picks will almost certainly be traded for a player in the next few years. Draft capital, fellas. Excited about Castle.
  14. If this happens we'd be all but guaranteed to take Risacher at 4
  15. Spurs have not been scouting him at all. I thought he might be a good pick too a few months ago but Spurs never seemed interested it seems.
  16. Acapulco is fantastic. It’s like Ted Lasso but without any drop off
  17. https://www.poundingtherock.com/2024/5/22/24162393/report-the-spurs-are-high-on-stephon-castle Would make sense since he's said to be a good defender.
  18. https://deadline.com/2024/05/drops-of-god-season-2-apple-tv-plus-1235925349/ New season of Drops of God. Great show.
  19. I agree we could use a center. Sarr won't be available at 4 anyway. Clingan however could be. I could see them drafting him if available and then using 8 for whichever point guard is left, Dillingham or Castle. Some also think the Spurs are interested in the french forward Tidjane Salaun. He's 18 and they could reach for him at the 8th pick like they did with Primo. https://athlonsports.com/nba/san-antonio-spurs/inside-spurs/news/french-nba-draft-prospect-tidjan-salaun-connected-san-antonio-spurs
  20. Obviously that’s not real. But if you want proof, reverse image search that twitter users image it’s a stock photo
  21. Topic getting hurt shakes things up a bit, Washington seemed likely for him at 2. But now they may look to Dillingham if they want a guard.
  22. Listened to the Bill Simmons podcast, and Ryan Russillo mentions how he's heard from 8 NBA teams, and their general consensus is that this draft is like starting from the 7th or 8th best player in a normal draft. Of course Spurs usually can find diamonds in rough but we are probably searching for role players here. Not necessarily a bad thing because our current role players are pretty bad (cough Collins cough Champagnie)
