  1. The A's getting Leodalis De Vries is fucking wild honestly. Top 5 prospect in baseball for a closer and #4 starter
  2. The more I look at Urias the more I like the move 1. We didnt give up shit. Kid we gave up is a future reliever with his BB rate 2. Urias is basically just another Dubon with a little more pop, a little less hit and similar defense 3. We need dudes with a pulse at this point and I never want to see names like Hummel and Short again 4. He is not a rental
  3. Look at this fucking cocksmooch… lol pretending to confirm Jon fucking Heymans report lolol like he has better sources than a guy who gets fed info directly from both orgs and agents
  4. Ok I’m better with it now that I learned it was essentially free if this was the only piece we gave Baltimore
  5. Need this, I don’t care what his numbers are this year. Sprinkle some Astros magic on him and he’s a Cy young
  6. Doubt that matters this year. Hes your every day starter at third the rest of this season. At least he’s a decent glove. Has another year of control as well. Still an absolute snoozer. If this is it for the deadline, we can go ahead and fast forward to 2026
  7. Barf….a worse Dubon and another fucking righty
  8. Him and Schwab are easily the most insufferable people on astros twitter
  9. Ohtani would disagree with this statement. I am sure he can learn to play third. Pull the trigger Jim and Dana!
  10. Seconded on Burnt Ends Tailgate, makes too much sense. Name is awesome, plays well with the theme, still family friendly. Also we should serve delicious burnt ends at every tailgate. Make it happen! @immamac
  11. Just me and my gal hanging out in Jamaica's largest freshwater pool!
  12. That Correa stuff definitely has legs. All about how much salary the Twins will eat. Twins are motivated to get off the contract with their potential sale. I guess I can see the vision of Correa at third and Paredes to second next year. Also sounds like Paredes is done for the year. The easiest way for us to add to the ML club is to deal from the ML club and the even easier way is to absorb salary like Correa or Arenado but thats all on Crane. Would have been better just to have signed Bregman this offseason instead of revisiting Carlos but oh well. Dana has to get a fuck ton done in the next 48 hours, standing pat and saying "Getting our guys off the IL is like making a trade" will make me vomit blood. Need 2 bats and a starter...hell I have no problem taking on all of Correas salary if the Twins throw in Joe Ryan and Willi Castro
  13. Fire in the sky, the alien movie, fucked me up as a kid. I couldn't get through IT, had to give that one a DNF as a kid
  14. Actually in the physical book the author has a note basically saying that you aren’t supposed to understand it, it’s just a tool to show how confused Carl and party are. I struggled with that as well but once I stopped paying attention to how the trains worked and just listened to the story it was way better. All the other floors are much more straightforward for the most part
  15. I let my daughters watch Ghostbusters last Halloween (8 and 6). It had been a while since I had watched it, and figured the more adult raunchy humor would go over their heads, but they would get a kick out of Slimer and the Stay Puft marshmallow man. It was listed under the "Family" genre was and only rated PG, fuck it. I remembered being scared of the librarian ghost jump scare as a kid so I warned them before and they closed their eyes, no big deal....what I was NOT prepared for and didn't remember was the semi exorcist-esque scene where Sigourney Weaver is possessed by Zuul and speaking in the demonic voice before eventually turning into androgynous David Bowie cosplay...that was a mistake
  16. Ya I just don’t know how they can afford it full live action once it gets to the gate of the feral gods. Training grounds, over city and iron tangle seem relatively easy to get done as long as they are committed and have the budget. Hope it’s on HBO but I think it will be on Hulu because of Seth McFarlane, which seems alright. Fits with the FX comedy style with always sunny, but hope they don’t lean too into comedy and miss some of the more emotional moments
  17. I need it to be with the invincible animation style in the dungeon but then switches to live action when they are in a safe room or interview or outside of the dungeon in general. Kinda like space ghost coast to coast
  18. I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Dont love the animation style but still worth the read-
  19. That is an illegal copy. They are audible exclusive and trust me, you will want to listen to that version. I think @immamac may have a copy...
  20. Wait till you see the plan he has in place to frame Ojo for stealing copper from construction buildings, or the blueprints we are drafting to frame Lamar Brown for putting invasive fish into Louisiana swamps around Baton Rouge
  21. This isn't as far-fetched as you make it sound; that Georgia poster has us dead to rights unfortuantely. @closetojumping position with the Texas One Fund is similar to how Gustavo Fring utilized Mike Ehremntraut, general muscle/security, plus competitor subterfuge. CTJ was actually in the backseat of Calicuts' 2014 Kia; he just kept gaslighting him, saying, "Bet you won't shoot him pussy. Bet you won't" as they were leaving the McDonalds parking lot
  22. Seems some posters on here have been taking All Gas, No Brakes a little bit too literally. Between all this Georgia talk and lead-foot surly posters, it is a bad time to be a motor vehicle
  23. That will get less and less as it goes along, especially after book 2. I didn’t care for some of those elements at first as well, keep going
