  1. Remember the first year of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, that Rubio played a pivotal back-channel role because he knows his foreign policy shit. And see how he got almost radio silent in the last-year, and not in a good way? It was to garner favor with MAGA nation who didn't think we should be remotely involved in supporting Ukraine despite Marco knowing better. It was an understandable play by Rubio. But now, Burgum is literally laying out stacks of cash on a table, and that's the only thing that moves Trump's mushroom dick besides Ivanka's laundry. Vane could be a play given his Rust Belt connectivity where the GOP has bled votes the last few cycles. But if the writing is on the wall that Donald can't win, he'll gladly take Burgum's cash and run. But yeah, outta the three-the one who is actually qualified is Rubio but he has no shot at it at all.

  3. THECB & TPPF seem to. Somehow, you didn't show up on our agenda this morning. Weird.
  4. My goodness, you're adorable. I am accidentally more powerful in Texas state politics than you could ever achieve in multiple lifetimes. But you do you, brutha.
  5. It was around the time Orange&White got his first period.
  6. I think some of y'all are being insensitive to Orange&White's sensitiveness.

    Euro 2024

too soon, man. too soon. Only been 90 years.
  8. I did not have "Taking Wife to WNBA game" as panty-dropper on my 2024 Date-Night Bingo Card. But fellas, we're all getting to an age, we gotta do what we gotta do. Have a good time. I still just laugh at how idiotic the USOC is being about leaving so much money on the table leading up to the 2028 games. There's stepping on your own dick. And then there's just voluntarily setting tens of millions of dollars on fire that could help the sport because some late 30's has-beens have been putting in the effort on the boards for awhile.
  9. It's a thread about Austin. AISD's situation is bound to come up, with regard to recapture. Others brought it up first. I know maths hurt your brain. We should fix the system, I think everybody can agree on that.
  10. Oh, did I bring up recapture or was it another poster? You seem literate. Riddle us, dipshit.
  11. That's a good point. Almost as good as that party promising to reform it for 30 years while controlling both chambers, the Governor's Mansion, and the Supreme Court. If only we had more time, eh?..................
  12. That date has already passed for 'regular' students. Obviously exemptions are made for student-athletes in transfer portals, varying by sport. But yeah, if we're done with the portal, and the NBA draft deadlines, I guess we're complete. 24 July is typically when Belmont sends over the money to the registrar for scholarship athletes' tuition. not sure if that makes a difference. I used to know all these details before the COVID/portal situation because we had some academic/named scholarships that would supplement a few student-athletes that weren't on full rides but were also really smart. But I have no clue anymore (as usual). So anybody wanna compile the full roster for us?
  13. Can't find a consistent answer on the googles. When does the portal close/rosters for 2024 Fall Semester get locked in?
  14. So an old buddy of mine that lives in the Yooper in his district, said he fired the weapon between his house and Deja Vu's strip club. But is unsure, as are authorities if she was running from his house back to the club (like some sort of door-dash champagne room situation. Or he was trying to bring her from the club back to his house and things went sideways. Even a pro-gun guy like this wouldn't be dumb enough at the start of the night to be running for re-election and carry a handgun into a liquor-licensed bar knowing he'd be grabbing ass and chugging bass. So couldn't help myself, called his office. Obviously he's not in today. Asked the Staffer what happened, he said he couldn't comment on it. Asked where I was from, so I used my buddy's town on Drummond Island in the Yooper. He asks for my info to call me back. didn't do it, but left him with something to think about. "We thank Rep. Friske for his service to our district. He's the biggest tragedy to happen to the Yooper since the Edmund Fitzgerald" and hung up. Now that dipshit has to walk around the Capitol asking people who "Edmund Fitzgerald" is, and gonna get a lot of weird looks---as if he's not already having a tough week. I had a new high fiber cereal this morning for breakfast so I had some spare time.
  15. We kinda have a tendency to blame pandemics on "others." Shit, the "Spanish Flu" of 1918 started in Kansas. We just didn't want to admit it so we denied cases until Spain started reporting them and everybody pointed their fingers at Iberia. Bubonic, Black, Third Plague, et. al. Some dirty group, immigrants, people of a different religion, gypsies, et. al. If something sweeps through killing 7 or 8 digits of people, you'd be insane not to blame it on somebody else. It's kind of our jam as a species. Rats, dirty water, coughing on other people in tight spaces? Nah. It's an Oriental Sorcerer at work, obviously.
  16. Well the "Hands on a Hardbody" sequel seems to have taken an odd turn.
  17. Black dudes don't let fat bitches be sittin' on they face. /noracist
  18. I didn't bring up Dan Patric, handjobs, fingering, or guns on this thread. Others did. I was merely attempting to tie it altogether into a Subaru/Lane Bryant commercial. Only time I worry about you is when you quit bitching.
  19. Reggie Jackson's firsthand account of modern racism in America is making white children feel bad about themselves for no reason! That's awesome that John McNamara and Rollie Fingers basically told any place that wouldn't have Reggie Jackson inside to get fucked. Where are Fingers and Jackson now? Cooperstown? Where are the Southern Gentleman of Heritage now? Bitching about library books. I love this game for so many reasons, one of them being it has been an equalizer for race and nationality. The game is cruel, but if you respect it and you can play it---it doesn't give fuck one where you came from or what color your skin is. Saddening to lose Willie Mays this week, but so cool that this Negro League tribute game happens and so many great all-timers gathered around it to celebrate and teach us the history of the game, good or bad.
  20. Was it a policy dispute they had, or what is that he contends because "Pour Some Sugar on Me" skipped ahead 37 seconds by the DJ, that he was owed another lap dance at no additional charge?
  21. I wanted to wife Ally Sheedy after that movie. But that son of a bitch, Reagan and the war in Grenada.
  22. Pop Quiz: What was the largest shift in number of popular votes for the same candidate (be it challenger or incumbent), from one election to the next?
