  1. Sure, young Maria Bartiromo looked pretty good then. But was she a conspiracy spreading, lying cunt who's not fit to be on TV yet? Unfortunately that's typically a deal breaker for me.
  2. So how did they explain Chris Pine being alive?
  3. Sounds like not much has changed in Keller. When I was a teen, I avoided 377 in the downtown area because Keller cops would pull you over if you were young every time on some bullshit excuse like "your license plate is dirty" and then search your car. Also they will trash the shit out of your car when searching it. That was back when CD players were big and I had one of those 100 CD holding cases and every CD was pulled out and left thrown on the floor board. They look for any reason to arrest you in that town. Fuckers.
  4. 22 Jump Street and Christmas Vacation were GREAT sequels. Black Sheep was neither good nor a sequel.
  5. I've seen both once and wouldn't bother to watch either again. But at least Anchorman 2 had some funny scenes that I can recall. I didn't hate it. On the other hand Super Troopers 2 was Hangover III level bad.
  6. This makes me think of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" for me and an ex-girlfriend when Jim Carry was sitting at the table with his gf all sullen and silent thinking to himself "are we the dining dead?" Silences suddenly became very awkward and a source of worry for me at meals for a while.
  7. I've always liked it. A girl dragged me to it and I knew nothing about it. I ended up liking it so much I took a different girl to see it at the theater. It was always a guilty pleasure until it seems like about 5 or 10 years ago it finally felt okay to come out of the closet about being a grown ass man and genuinely liking it. Either that or I just finally grew up a little and quit caring so much about what others think.
  8. I would almost guarantee neither would be funny. I'll reserve judgment until after I see it, but comedies have the worst track record of sequels. A truly great comedy, like both CTA and Stepbrothers happen to be, are typically lightning in a bottle. Most fall flat the second time around. See 97% of every comedy sequel ever made for examples.
  9. It was a great belt too. Lot of history there.
  10. You're right that they've all probably peaked with this show given how long its run and its popularity, but some of their careers have been nothing to sneeze at in an industry as tough to break into as acting. Lots of reoccurring characters in other sitcoms and side characters in movies with a few leads thrown in. I remember recognizing Kaitlin in the first episode I watched of "Sunny" from "The Riches," which she had a pretty decent part in. I remember thinking between her and beloved character actress Margo Martindale, FX seemed to love recycling their actors. But yeah, they might as well keep this going as long as FX lets them if they all love it as much as they seem to.
  11. Chevy Chase was great as many characters. People act like because other actors found him to be a beating at times completely takes away that he's one of the all time great comedic actors, or at least for the last half century. Why wouldn't he be great as Pearce Hawthorne? Not saying you're one of those people, but Chevy Chase is usually funny and pretty good at what he does.
  12. Why would I google something and get instantaneous results when I could ask Rockwell Torrey here who has the inside scoop and possibly get his opinion (if he chooses to respond) minutes or hours or possibly days or even months from now? Stop being silly.
  13. Is it really? Or are you only saying that because you have a Japanese flag in your avatar? The only Asian supermarkets I know of around me are Vietnamese or Korean. Where do Japanese people shop in the Dallas area?
  14. Taking it. With $5 million to my name my next girlfriend is likely to be an upgrade over her daughter.
  15. I think the update looks good; however, it no longer remembers where you last left off in a thread. It immediately takes you to page 1. Do y'all expect us to remember what we've already read?
  16. It's not as good as it once was, and as cliché as it is to say, it actually is still better than most sitcoms currently on TV. I'll probably keep watching however long they decide to keep making them.
  17. Sorry, I've been busy and out of the loop somewhat this week, but is he trying to make "Wisdom and Courage" some sort of catch phrase like "MAGA"? He keeps tweeting it and capitalizing the words as if they're proper nouns. Is there going to be a new red hat for his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th terms?
  18. I've been liking Taylor Swift unapologetically since the 1989 album. The National have been my favorite band since TWFM. My only complaint about this new album of Swift's is that Matt only has one duet with her.
  19. Y'all both got your countertops at Lifetime Fitness?
  20. Tom

    Rats!

I just brought this asshole down to -65 rep from over -100 rep. He's still listed as crowd sourced. WTF? I only did it because I'm bored and it's fun arguing with his stupidity in the cloak room. Oh well.....
  21. Really? That's a shame. That's a damn shame. That's a real damn shame that all of his posts were deleted, and now I'll never see those tits.
  22. Same. I wonder how it holds up. I'm hesitant to watch movies I loved as a kid now because they often disappoint and spoil the nostalgia.
  23. Looks like it's already been deleted, but posts like these should be reported immediately. Fuck them.
