  1. It's amazing they can recruit any black kids to play sports there. They don't even hide their disdain for anyone who isn't white.
  2. Good God, they're still clinging to the lie that 130,000+ votes were cast for Biden in the middle of the night without a single vote for Trump. And the sharpie thing is so dumb. How are you going to give sharpies to only Trump voters? How the hell do you know who somebody is going to vote for just by them walking through the door? It's not like people are allowed to wear their MAGA hats into voting locations. GOP/Trump supporters really don't think their conspiracies all the way through.
  3. Trump still received millions of more votes than in 2016. I, as I assume many posters here, thought he would lose votes after the craziness of the past four years. He received more. @Brisketexan is right that Biden will likely be sworn in on January 20, but it really doesn't matter. We've learned from both the Senate impeachment trial and this attempt to overturn an election that Republicans in power will unwaveringly and without shame side with corruption to hold absolute power at the executive level rather than attempt to check it. We've learned that when the conservatives' favorite media outlet attempts to fairly report the outcome of an election, millions will change the channel to a more fringe outlet that will tell them what they want to hear -- that this attempted coup is legitimate and their election was stolen from them. That genie isn't going back in the bottle just because Trump leaves. We have a side of the media and millions of people that refuse to acknowledge reality if it doesn't match what they want to hear, and they have already proven -- at least some of them -- that they are capable of violence and domestic terrorism if they don't like what they see. We. Are. Fucked.
  4. Well, then it looks like we are in agreement.
  5. Word on the street is Scott Baio wants to move to Utah and primary Romney.
  6. It's been my experience that conservatives love electing actors and celebrities.
  7. I have no idea who Wayne Dupree is, but that website gave my computer AIDS. There are almost as many ads as words on each page. This article was off to a fantastic start. The very first sentence, copied and pasted without edit: The rest of the article is no more interesting or informative.
  8. I can't argue with any of this. Weeds was a great show the first few seasons and the actress who plays Nancy is definitely hotter than the actress who plays Jackie. I don't think anyone ever accuses Jackie of being hot. Weeds is like Dexter, Californication, and others in continuing the long tradition of Showtime series of going to complete shit after a few seasons. Nurse Jackie managed to avoid that curse, IMO.
  9. Post Malone doing a Nirvana cover tribute in a dress, something Kurt Cobain also wore. But I'm sure Ben Shapiro could teach him some lessons on masculinity, like how to speak in a nasally prepubescent voice or how to keep WAP eternally dry.
  10. 9 times out of 10 I agree. But then I remember I saw "The Leftovers."
  11. Nurse Jackie >>>>>>>>>> Weeds. Nurse Jackie may get weaker in later seasons, but it's still enjoyable from beginning to end. Getting a little less interesting is pretty common for all shows. I liked Nurse Jackie enough that I've thought about revisiting it at some point. Weeds became unwatchable at some point around season 4 or 5, and anyone that finished it likely only did out of habit. I'll never watch Weeds again.
  12. In some areas, yes. But Obama was more progressive than his record. His mistake was always believing he could compromise with a GOP always operating in bad faith. He mistakenly thought he would have more success trying to include the right. I think he felt two steps forward is better than no steps at all, when the GOP always intended to push him on his back from the start. He should have done what the GOP dishonestly accused him of and actually rammed the original ACA down our throats, but he didn't. He included the GOP and it was watered down. There are plenty of valid criticisms against him, like his foreign policy in Syria and Libya, drone strikes and others. But I think in his heart he was more progressive than his record was, and his legacy's biggest mistake was compromise in an era where it couldn't be found.
  13. I've also yet to hear a single Hispanic use this term, only white people. I'm not saying some don't use it, but it doesn't seem too common from my personal totally anecdotal experience. If the majority of Spanish speaking people decide to evolve their language, cool. But this comes off as very "Hi! I'm white and I'm here to help."
  14. .....And the previous defending champion is raging and doing donuts in the golf cart on the green, tearing up the course so others can't enjoy it going forward.
  15. True. Although I didn't realize you could do the worm instead of a push-up at the bottom and it still be called a burpee. #formpolice
  16. You'd be surprised at just how many hills I'd die on.
  17. Okay, right. I lied. I did watch a video of Don Jr's girlfriend's cocaine fueled speech. "And the best IS YET TO COME!!!!"
  18. Can't say one way or the other. I didn't watch 2 seconds of it.
  19. For the most part she has stayed out of the limelight, but she did give some speech to a bunch of LGBT+ people not long ago saying how much her dad supports them. I'm too lazy to find the Tweet/video, but she was campaigning for her dad's re-election. In summary, fuck her, too.
  20. I just don't care to derail the Facebook thread for two pages about food, even though I do enjoy riling people up over something as subjective and insignificant as food opinions.
  21. Imagine Stanning for corn of all things. I just can't. This has been real fun, but I'm out.
  22. Corn. And bakery goods they use corn in.
  23. I just said I'm not into corn tortillas. Why would I eat shit?
  24. Congrats. You just pissed off Enchubben, and he's going to make us pay. So much for the tolerant left.
  25. Corn in any form is garbage. You should be asking who enjoys eating such a bland food barely fit for livestock that you can't properly digest. Your type 2 didn't come from eating flour tortillas. It came from your numerous other poor dietary choices like your 44 oz. of corn syrup-filled Coke.
