  1. Well you didn't say Schevchenko.
  2. Agreed. Can't see a world in which he's at the top of the ticket but perhaps he'd have a shot at VP?
  3. Appreciate the sentiment but it would be better expressed not using a slur.
  4. Bellerin out for rest of season w/ ruptured cruciate Sucks to see that. He's really bounced back from a couple of pedestrian seasons, after starting his career looking like a world beater. Feel bad for him.
  5. Is that really going to happen now w/ the Kane news?
  6. Milner has looked pretty gassed, and while he was a pretty serviceable left back two seasons ago, I think he's less effective at right back. Fabinho is probably the best replacement and he's probably not needed in the midfield for these upcoming matches. That being said, we're probably getting Milner there this weekend.
  7. Oh, I will absolutely vote for the Democratic nominee. Just prefer to see a true progressive at the top of the ticket.
  8. I hope Bernie decides not to run in 2020. I also don't want Harris as the nominee, though I'd still prefer her to Biden.
  9. Gillibrand, IIRC, was the only senator to vote against every single Trump cabinet nominee. Biden's a neo-lib, Gillibrand is a progressive. She's not a former cop like Harris. I like her a lot but when I've seen her in front of the media, I haven't been impressed. I wanted to be. Klobuchar is great. I'd be thrilled with her as the nominee, though I feel like she might end up on the ticket as veep. Brown/Klobuchar would be real, real nice.
  10. Between who I think is electable and whose policies I like best, my pick today would be Sherrod Brown. I'd prefer a woman or person of color, but aside from being a white man in his sixties, Brown ticks all the boxes.
  11. So who plays CB this weekend? Back three of Gini -- VVD -- Fabinho?
  12. "Douchebags are a hygienic product, I take no offense!" (from Wet Hot American Summer)
  13. Not sure if anyone else is looking for a stream, but this thread has a few that are working well:
  14. I mean, he's under contract. Clyne can complain all he wants but the club doesn't have to do anything. As someone else pointed out, the loan is likely tied into the Solanke fee, which feels inflated. Clyne looked good in his recent matches, especially considering how long he's been off. I'm not terribly worried about actually needing him, but it seems shortsighted for a club competing for the league and CL to loan out a player at a position where we're not very deep.
  15. In case, ya know, you're having a tough time passing the time until today's blockbuster of a match...
  16. Should be rooting for Solari as well.
  17. Double Liverpool's goals conceded (7) and it'd still be fewer than Man City's (15).
  18. Not surprised to see Milner and Gini out there but Naby's omission is pretty shocking. Shaqiri is a great option off the bench if we need a goal but Keita has played really well the last few matches and links the midfield with the attack so well. VvD, Salah, and Mané in a nervy 3-1 win.
  19. Was only able to watch the second half but I thought Fabinho had some spells where he looked absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to see him become a fixture in the XI. Shaqiri has been a revelation with his ability to play sliderule passes. Never seen that out of him anywhere he's ever played. The best part is that Naby Keita has mostly been shit this year. When he settles into the team and league, watch the eff out.
