The most amazing things to me about that account are:
The band decided to have simple votes in the tour AND Perry was OK with that
They didn't want dancers because it's not PC anymore. I was at a show in Miami (Bayfront), when they played '3 days' the dancers just slowly started erotically dancing and stripping... as the song sped, up they sped up too. Then things got wild on stage and in the rigging above the stage too. I was amazed they didn't get arrested. This was open air downtown Miami.
Been eating a lot of fajitas lately.
I sous vide chicken with fajitas spices @150f. I char hatch chiles, onions, and bell peppers in advance. Reheat the peppers and onions in a skillet, slice up sous vide chicken and toss that in to reheat. While that's warming cook some tortillas on a cast iron skillet and get the fixins ready
add some shredded cheese, sour cream, shredded lettuce and pico...
Comes together pretty quick and it's damned good. I hate dry chicken so I don't miss the char on that at all. Plus the vegies add that flavor in spades.
I will say this, both campaigns are buying media here. So they must think it's in play to a certain degree. Trump enthusiasm is down for sure, but I still think those supporters still vote, they just don't want to wear the team colors.
Mother nature is a force to be reckoned with, but I do wonder about the upkeep of our civilian infrastructure.
I know that dams are built with safety margins in mind (designed for 1,000 year storm events etc) However it's become clear that those risk factors were calculated without climate change impacts in mind. Lake Lure was built in the 1920's. I sure hope since then the maintenance budgets haven't been cut or stretched like they have here in Ft Lauderdale. Our water infrastructure explodes if too many people have taco bell.
