  1. Great catch for the INT
  2. The one thing you can’t do
  3. Commentators weren’t exactly clarifying it at first either, though was obvious to us.
  4. For sure — the Bama and Michigan setups, not to mention the huge UW Sugar Bowl party, were beyond awesome. Selfishly I’d hate for you to spread yourself too thin or work yourself to (figurative) death and lose them altogether.
  5. Just my two cents, but perhaps targeting just one road game as THE tailgate each season may yield better traffic, (playoffs not withstanding). Previously, the marquee road game to circle was somewhat obvious (USC, ND, Arky, Bama, Michigan, etc). Now this year you had tOSU, Florida, Georgia, and so on and the new SEC schedule is gonna be similar going forward. I’m planning on Knoxville next year but I know many will prioritize or also go to LSU. Either way, you shouldn’t kill yourself to get a tailgate off the ground. And can always keep it simple like taking over a bar in Fayetteville.
  6. Haven’t double checked but our game probably has the largest point spread in the SEC this week. Team needs to maintain focusness and take care of its business.
  7. Close loss in the CFP semis to fired halfway through the next season. Wow
  8. I read Forde’s column. It was a purely fantasy hypothetical for a wild coaching carousel. He did not predict Sark will leave, beyond saying that if the year continues to trend downward, Sark will start to feel pressure from the Texas BMDs.
  9. They were at the Surly tailgate for the home opener.

Went on Sunday. Freaking hot and incredibly dusty. Knew little of the lineup, as usual. But had a great time at The Dare and especially Midnight Generation (tito's tent), neither of which I was familiar with previously. Enjoyed Rainbow Kitten Surprise as well. Killers were good too, though I also thought Whiskey River opener was pretty lame. And I agree it seemed like the least crowded closing act I can remember, but figured that was the youngsters going to John Summitt, which I would have like to see too, but the less packed crowd was nice. Especially after my fellow late 30s white friend and I had posted up somewhere for T-Pain, and as his showtime approached the dense crowd that formed around us was so noticeably younger that we felt a wee bit out of place. So, moved back for a bit more breathing room. But I joked that during that set, no matter where we stopped and posted up, the age demographic around us just kept decreasing over time. High energy set though. Used to go three-days every year, but after a hiatus for a few years I've been liking just going all out for one day.
  11. No way to know what you’re missing if you walk out when the movie isn’t your thing out of the gate, but the first 30 minutes were a very different tone than the final two hours.
  12. This stat is basically the opposite of last year
  13. We haven’t beaten OU in consecutive years since 08/09. Was really counting on this team to remedy that. Now….ugh
