  1. FYI It has a 15 minute intermission
  2. Yeah it got a little bit stale at points in seasons 3 and 4. I still fully enjoyed it as a comfort watch. But the last season is really great and especially the ending.

Made it through seven episodes, couldn’t bring myself to keep going. Good production quality, but nothing about the story compels me to keep watching. Love BBL as a performer but I just don’t care about any of the characters. Sure you were all dying to know. I’ll probably check out Lioness now as I’ve heard good things.
  4. It the ball touches the ground while they are still fighting over possession, shouldn’t it be incomplete?
  5. That’s twice they’ve cut to show Cosmi injured in the sidelines but neither time has it been Sam Cosmi.
  6. If you mean the north or 35-side of moody, couldn’t tell ya. Coming from the south I haven’t noticed anything other than the demo of the Social Work building, and San Jacinto is still open but gets backed up due to people crossing to walk to and from the game.
  7. Could be a later than usual arriving crowd today. March for life (no CR) starts at 1pm today and snarls up traffic on 15th and cross streets when they march around to the capitol. Maybe the 1:30 tip will be early enough for most people to avoid the mess. Lucky for me I can walk to Moody.
  8. I’m also a Big Pic listener and user of Letterboxd, plus I have a good friend at work who follows movies and we talk about it. So that helps me with awareness of what’s coming out and in the awards buzz. Even with that I’ve only seen half the best picture noms. Of those, my ranking would be: 1. Anora 2. Dune 2 3. Conclave 4. The Brutalist (could maybe switch this to #3, but the second half didn’t wow me as much) 5. Wicked (thoroughly enjoyed it but Best Picture it is not) I will for sure watch Compete Unknown, and as a fan of the Oscars I will probably try to see The Substance and Emilia Perez too since they got so much recognition. And there’s a handful of other category nominees I've seen (Nosferatu, A Real Pain) or plan to check out. But all that said it’s been a weak year and agree with the earlier comment that it would be very difficult for anyone who doesn’t pay close attention to the industry or make a point to go to the movies regularly to really know what’s coming out beyond the franchise releases.
  9. I’m at the game but you should be able to mute and use the Texas Longhorns app to listen to Craig.
  10. Feels like the same script is playing out again: we hang around for a half or 30 minutes, the other team focuses, turns up their intensity on both ends, and we can’t match them.
  11. Here’s the AP voter breakdown for Texas for anyone curious. https://collegepolltracker.com/football/team/texas-longhorns/2024 The lone #25 vote for Aggy came from Rece Davis, btw, who had us at #6.
  12. The two teams that praised Jesus the most. To that I say, JFC
  13. I’m far from a herbstreit hater, but this year he has really let his bias shine through and tonight takes the cake. So lame
  14. I thought it was wrong at the time, but it’s the opposite actually. Had they made it, tOSU would have even more pressure on them.
