  1. I think it's somewhat likely that had Georgia won, FSU would have gotten in instead of Texas. Have any of the posters who were so adamant that we should root for Georgia come back to admit they were wrong?
  2. I look forward to celebrating victory on bourbon street and eating chicken alongside Fozzy Whittaker, as I did after the Georgia beat down (true story)
  3. Don’t believe so. Just season ticket holders have a chance to place an order.
  4. See y’all in NOLA. Currently have a hotel booked, but just for the 1st and 2nd so trying to get something figured out for the 31st. Most likely driving and Will get our game tickets through UT.
  5. Boys, whatever happens it’s fun as hell to be back in the thick of it.
  6. It’s so easy for Galloway who was sure Georgia was the best team in the country
  7. Woke up much less confident than I was when I went to sleep. The thing is we just don’t know how the committee is gonna handle it. But the games on the field have to matter, otherwise what are we doing.
  8. Wrong. The #1 seed gets to pick their preferred site.
  9. It was 25-4 when LHN flipped over after the volleyball game.
  10. Aww, this is hitting me in the feels with nostalgia of bypassing the long lines at Entrance A to walk in with no wait at Entrance C.
  11. Loving it so far. I’ve watched all the seasons and 1 and 2 were great. 3 and 4 had their moments but overall pretty meh. The movie of course is an all-time classic. So many references to the Coen brothers in these first couple eps.
  12. I’ve just come to terms with the fact that we’re having this endless round and round discussion means it will all probably be moot/moo after the games are played.. The undefeateds will all win, leaving us on the outside looking in with no real leg to stand on. Thats just our fucking luck in these things.
  13. Haven’t received them yet, but I did see the charge on my CC today so I at least know how much I was charged ($180 each). Kind of important since the price range on the order form was $99-$350. The fulfillment email from last week said we should get them by Thursday.
  14. I’ve been to the game at both stadiums on both days (T-day or T+1), but I prefer T+1. For me, that’s what I grew up with from ‘94 to ‘07 before it was moved to T-day ‘08-‘11. That said, I don’t really mind the thanksgiving day game as much when it’s every other year as compared to the home game rotation we had with Tech, TCU, etc for a few years.
  15. The mouth breathers over at TD are already complaining that we have too easy an SEC schedule next year. How is that possible when every SEC game is supposed to be difficult. https://www.secrant.com/rant/sec-football/texas-schedule-next-year--one-of-the-easiest-in-the-league/111085076/
  16. I wish I could rep this post more. This is why our SOS is so strong relative to many of the others, when it's broken down over the full 12 games. However when it comes to humans ranking teams, the throwaway wins are dismissed for the most part and primarily the top wins and of course the losses are compared, for better or for worse. So our non-conference wins against 8-4 Wyoming and bowl eligible Rice aren't really looked at in comparison to FCS walkovers Chattanooga and Portland State, Hawaii, Middle Tennessee State, etc. Another reason why computer models for rankings should get more consideration alongside the human element.
  17. My thoughts exactly when I heard that this morning.
  18. There's no way to really know the answer for why, but I disagree that the comparison of losses is what put Oregon ahead of us initially. Much more likely IMO it's because before the first CFP rankings, we were one week removed from barely beating UH, while Oregon had just crushed a 13th ranked at the time Utah.
  19. It's also interesting, at least to me, that of the seven (or eight) remaining contenders, we are the only team who has not previously appeared in the CFP.
