  1. Think you can more or less arrange it, but it’s for up to 10 hours, so with 6pm game time and travel time guessing something like 1pm. My buddy is trying to convince me we can just reserve an uberX in advance both ways and lock in the price (around $200 total round trip). I’m skeptical of that working.
  2. Emailed the guy and got a quick response, he said their bigger buses are booked but the 12 seater is still available. While I’m sure there will be a lot, I only personally know of a few people staying in Birmingham. Any others here that would potentially be interested in trying to fill out a group of 12? I think I’d have about five people already.
  3. For folks like me still looking into gameday travel between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, this popped up which I hadn't seen before: https://www.strugglebusbham.com/services-basic-2 There are a few photos on their site but not much in the way of reviews or testimonials, so unsure how legit it is, but they list a gameday roundtrip (10 hours) in a 12 person bus for $1350 and 25 (or 30?) person bus for $2150.
  4. So Corby’s brief on air discussion of it seems like pure wish casting. I just hope whatever they end up doing doesn’t involve too much TC. I’d love none at all but that doesn’t seem likely.
  5. Cryptic tweet is cool, but I won't get my hopes up til one of them posts this
  6. And Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy 3
  7. I can’t wait for the Bama ga— I mean the Allstate Crossbar Classic
  8. As a regular listener of multiple podcasts at The Ringer, it would be cool to see them surface there. But that seems a bit too big/national for it to make a whole lot of sense, or where they would make more money.
  9. Bummer if it’s truly the end of Dan and Jake on the ticket. I’d assume their show will go somewhere and I’ll still listen, but the continued breakup of the core group of guys is sad, especially when thinking about the big group trips to the Super Bowl, campound, etc. Dan and Jake balancing out Bob, Junior, and Corby in those settings is noticeable.
  10. Yep, I’ve seen it. Really good.
  11. If it’s a good or great movie, the format you see it in shouldn’t negate that (assuming it’s not on your phone or something). But a premium format can certainly elevate the experience. Movies filmed specifically for IMAX and available at a theater like Bullock are not that common and should be taken advantage of if you can. I’ve got tix for the 27th there. Wish I could see it sooner but most if not all of the screenings prior to that are sold out.
  12. Anyone recall when UT moved from KVET to The Horn? Were we still on KVET in 2005?
  13. Wow, I’m honored. They mention my grandfather (CAW) as one of the reasons they sucked in the past.
  14. I had fun with it. Not close to the original trilogy IMO, but far better than Crystal Skull, which I’ve only seen once. Some good chases, though there were so many and they were so long that it was basically the whole movie. I like Phoebe Waller Bridge also. The de-aging tech is great visually, though the older sounding voice didn’t quite match. 3/5
  15. I’m also still wondering about options for gameday travel to and from Birmingham. Anyone have any leads? I do have a backup plan because my friend and his GF are driving out there but would definitely prefer a group shuttle or something.
  16. I guess this tells me I’m somewhat addicted to Twitter considering how many times I’ve gotten annoyed at not being able to refresh my timeline or read replies due to exceeding the rate limit. Also the first time I pulled up BlueSky in the App Store earlier today it was something like #125 on the social network chart. Now at #7.
  17. From the vid, this attack was more reminiscent of Chrissy Watkins IMO
  18. I rewound the live play and didn’t see anything to warrant that reaction
  19. Florida better start chipping away quick or this risks becoming a laugher.
  20. Had my selection window today at 12:20. Was tied up with work so couldn't get to it until 1:15, but when I got to my computer I had an email saying my seats had already been chosen, even though the email earlier said they'd be done automatically the morning after your selection day if you missed it. Still ended up with decent Section 9 seats, but heads up for anyone if you can't make it right on time for your window.
  21. No big surprise, but looks and sounds like a 90% LSU crowd
