  1. This show is great. Can’t wait to hear again from everyone who feels the need to fast forward through Sally scenes to get through a… [checks notes]…28 minute episode. I’m behind getting to ep 3 and about to watch ep 4 from tonight.
  2. The hardline with just two hosts, one of whom is Corby, is almost unlistenable for me. Adding Dave really improved the show, but when it reverts with him or Bob out, and we get a lot of extra Corby or Mino, yeesh.
  3. Playing UT golf club for the first time next Friday, anyone have any tips? (25-26 handicap btw...I'll probably be playing from the front tees or one back) Coming off a 105 this past Saturday at Mo Willie (with 46 putts...yikes)
  4. That’s what I meant. He was shaken throughout and saying ridiculous shit, much more material than he usually gets. The worry and attempted dismissal of the ski jumper was comical.
  5. While an entire thread on the football board is a bit much, this issue is a pet peeve of mine too. I also hear/see the incorrect use of "amount" versus "number" all the time, probably more often than hearing those used properly (it's the same issue of countable/uncountable). But neither of those are nearly as bad as people who write "should of" instead of "should have" or "should've". They need to be sent back to elementary school.
  6. Hugo was cooking this episode. Man I love this show
  7. Didn’t see it posted here and I guess it’s kind of a structural spoiler of this season, though nothing specific plot-wise, but the actor who plays Stewie confirmed in an interview that: Interesting way to end it.
  8. I'm planning to go to Tuscaloosa as well. Guess I should look at hotels in Birmingham. Probably need to start a Surly Road trip thread.
  9. There's also a playlist in Disney+ which is just Ahsoka essential episodes from Clone Wars (16 eps), Rebels (seven eps), and Tales of the Jedi (three eps). I'm still working through Rebels and haven't seen Tales of the Jedi.
  10. Karl just eviscerated Tom when he put his "hat into the ring" for CEO. "The negative case would go: You're a clumsy interloper and no one trusts you. The only guy pulling for you is dead, and now you're just married to the ex-boss' daughter, and she doesn't even like you. And you are fair and squarely fucked."
  11. My CBS feed on Spectrum gone wonky the last 15 minutes. WTF
  12. Do not put the lead off man on. Do not put the lead off man on….
  13. Enjoying having Rahm do some analysis here. Funny he’s having to commentate on Cantlay’s slow play.
  14. Think a graphic said black and green jerseys won’t get hit.
  15. Don’t really get the consternation about the 80 yard outdoor field. What are they really missing out on given that there is a regulation field right there in the indoor portion, not to mention the full outdoor field a block away at DKR. They didn’t come up with this overnight. I’m sure the narrow wing on the south is there for a good reason too.
  16. https://www.kxan.com/news/local/austin/apd-weekend-rainey-st-patrols-helped-find-missing-man/amp/ Successful first weekend:
  17. Hard to predict how it all shakes out with the siblings but clearly they’re going to fight it out amongst themselves, to our enjoyment. Tom is in a vulnerable position and he clearly knows and feels that. But one safe bet IMO, is that Greg is going to get completely railroaded and thrown to the wolves going forward, after starting the season with a kind of confidence and esteem that he’s been building up to through the series so far.
  18. I’m somewhat interested in all three of those concepts, but gotta be honest I really don’t see the box office market treating them favorably.
  19. Kinda had to know this was coming at some point this season, but that was absolutely gripping television.
  20. Let’s get a gif of Bennett exiting stage left
