  1. Here we go Ohtani! This is your time!
  2. Oh yeah that does work. Thanks.
  3. If Harris cruises to a big win I would still need to see how the 2026 Midterms turn out to presume any significant long term positive shift. People were sure that the 2008 election was some kind of big shift but 2010 showed that actually...
  4. I don't really understand how Trump is in anybody's way to getting at people. He is just some guy right now.
  5. Sure. But California was still won by Gore and Kerry by wide margins. It was still an impressive feat, even for the time.
  6. Seems unlikely that Kamala's best swing state performance will be in North Carolina.
  7. It was talked about a bit in the past. Dude was a Republican who won in California FFS. But the issue was always that he could never be President.
  8. Maybe. We had a silly number of people who voted for Beto and Abbott in 2018.
  9. Yeah anything over 47% would be a huge win. I mean not literally, but it would be a big win for those of us hoping to one day see Texas turn.
  10. Yeah the first time I heard it, I thought it was clear he was talking about the statement. And I am angry about the false equivalency. Hell for years every time I show somebody all the times Trump has basically referred to me as a dangerous enemy who should be destroyed I get the "but Hillary hurt my feelings about being deplorable!!" At least now they will have something else to whatabout with.
  11. Interesting. How do you check the SoS list?
  12. He said he was shortly going to release his healthcare plan while he was President. Still nothing.
  13. This is my main reason for optimism at this point. Large lead in the woman turnout.
  14. El Paso is just never going to vote. We all whine about it every election. I think there could be an election where one candidate promised to nuke El Paso and another one promising to pay everyone in El Paso one million dollars and they still wouldn't vote.
  15. I did. He didn't call them garbage. It was a possessive 's' not a plural one. He immediately says 'his' which is a singular pronoun referring to one person. And also a possessive. Because he was clearly talking about one of his supporter's actions. I listened to what he had to say and we have a transcript. Both show he didn't do that. If that matters to you. Yeah gaffs were always his thing for sure. And his mumbling and bumbling about when talking didn't help him here. Will it move the needle? I don't know. But it still annoys me.
  16. Probably can't do that. Defense is generally seen as a sign of weakness. It is just a ridiculous situation. It is like me saying "I don't like Mike's car." and somebody just cutting off the end of the statement and then announcing to the world I just said "I don't like Mikes" and now everybody named Mike is offended. The media really is something else. It is a propaganda win for them I guess, but if this sort of thing is allowed I do not see how it can be prevented. You can use misquotes and lies to say anything.
  17. Obviously it would have been incredibly stupid for Biden to call Trump's supporters garbage. I mean he didn't though. Does that matter?
  18. It isn't a mistake, it is a misquote. A lie. I mean if we are going to go that direction just start making AI deep fakes of Biden saying whatever.
  19. I mean, he didn't call them garbage Fox News. I guess I shouldn't expect any competency or honesty from the media. I presume comprehension and understanding of the English language and how it works is something Fox News possesses so they are misquoting him intentionally and dishonestly. Ridiculous.
  20. Maybe. But he still didn't say that. Stupid non-scandal.
  21. I mean Biden was clearly not calling a single person garbage. He was clearly calling the actions of Tony Hinchcliffe garbage. Not even calling Tony Hinchcliffe himself garbage. Yet somehow they spin this into Biden calling tens of millions of people garbage. And that is useful to them. Were they really that upset Clinton actually did refer to some of his supporters as deplorables? No, it was just useful. And misquoting Biden will be useful. Their feelings were not actually hurt.
  22. And it is a lie. Biden did not call all of Trump's supporters garbage. He was referring to one supporter's actions. That is clear. But the possessive 's' is enough I guess. A fragment of a sentence, that requires one to ignore the second half.
