Yes. It would mean we would get the #14 or #15 instead of the #16, presuming everything goes chalk.
But...still does that really matter? We would host the Super regardless. There is no big reason to worry about the tournament besides the vague desire to put another trophy in the trophy case. Which is good enough for me. I would hate to have another team have a SEC conference trophy when they all should be ours.
Yeah well that is the new normal in every sport. And yes it sucks.
The SEC started it all by taking Arkansas and South Carolina in 1992. The beginning of the end.
The #1 seed is not locked. Arkansas or LSU could win this tournament and take it from us. I am not sure how much that really matters. Does it really make that big of a difference if you are the #2 or #3 overall seed?
However, we still want to win the tournament just because it exists.
We have 1 to 3 games in a two weeks period. There is no reason to rest your team that long, people need to stay sharp.
Hey I had just never heard of Hoover before and it was being presented as something famous I should know about. I guess Hoover is the traditional spot of the SEC tournament?
I am a public sector employee and people get fired usually just for this kind of nonsense. It never has anything to do with anything beyond just political bullshit and purges. People rarely get fired because they are bad at their job. But people get fired all the time for literally anything besides that.
I think the Feds upset about how it is going are largely morons who actually believed the propaganda about DOGE as something interested in the function of government instead of just being a political purge machine on an unusually large and stupid scale. Also people who thought their work was really important and care about it which is sweet.
He never did explicitly say it. He just said things that led us all to assume that was the plan. Also just the fact that it was obviously such a stupid and bad idea to run for re-election that surely...
Yet another time assuming the people in charge have a clue turned out to wishful thinking on my part.
Unless they turn it on in the tournament, you have to figure Kentucky, A&M, South Carolina, and Missouri are done. But with all the SEC cock sucking...we will see.
