  1. But $2 Tuesday features Bootz! You can't just turn down a chance to see them live.
  2. I order Ohana on Uber Eats, I actually haven't even set foot in there. Loco Moco when hungover will get you right with the quickness.
  3. When it comes to Hawaiian I like Ohana on Camp Bowie. Anyone have a home theater company they would rec? Moved into new place and I need some help with a TV setup for maximum sports watching. Found one place online. Had a July 5 visit scheduled. Guy called in the morning and rescheduled to Saturday, claiming to be under the weather. Come on bro, you're hungover. Then ghosted me Saturday. So they're fired.
  4. I just hope Trev brings back Weekly Wednesday, Bill Byrne's greatest contribution to college sports and comedy. He can write it in crayon and let a secretary post it online.
  5. Ah yes, after taking a giant L this week and 100 year history of taking Ls on the field, go ahead and sue Schloss/UT and let our team of lawyers hang another giant L around your neck.
  6. Johnny Wholestaff will be pitching for both teams tomorrow. It's for the natty. Anybody can come in for an inning except maybe Cortez. But he could get a batter if they feel good about the matchup. I feel like Schloss has managed their staff really well in this CWS.
  7. I don't feel like we were jerked around. The hiring process was handled stupidly and there was no permanent AD in place. I mean maybe we were jerked around but we let it happen.
  8. That old guy was awesome. He would have kept telling stories until 9pm if Ken didn't gently jump in and cut him off
  9. Stages? Nice typo fucking coke fiend. Also love that in the greatest men's sports achievement for that school in 85 years he still can't keep the SEC dick out of his mouth. Their great season this year has fuck all to do with the conference they play in.
  10. Giants broadcast tonight discussed how Willie stayed around the Giants, giving pointers to guys as recently as Angel Pagan and Hunter Pence. If not more recently, but those two guys were specifically mentioned (Pence was in the booth tonight) Dave Flemming (pbp) mentioned seeing Willie's golf cart outside the clubhouse and going into listen and be a fly on the wall. The guy fucking loved ball and he played like it. And that's why everybody loved him.
  11. They're expensive because they can be, because deep down inside a whole lot of women want to tell everyone how much their wedding cost. Any time you sell a product or service that is being purchased with someone else's money, you can basically set the market.
  12. This would be so easy. Buncha bleeding heart lib commie soyboys. Etc etc.
  13. Sure didn't expect to still be watching the Mavs in the finals after Game 1 vs the Clips. It was fun!
  14. Yeah that was a hell of a play.
  15. Nothing is worse than the Direct Energy ad. Instant punch out
  16. Maybe it was just his feelings that were hurt.
  17. I wonder if it was after the 7th or the 10th double vodka tonic when they decided this would be an awesome heckle. Fucking losers.
  18. I am currently at a bar and I hope someone starts watching this game near us thinking it's live. I am gonna throw out some incredible predictions.
  19. This is why I think anyone can win it. I don't think anybody has a true lights out ace.
  20. God is crying because those hayseed fucks are in Omaha.
  21. Which team has the fewest number of uber douche players with ridiculous eye black? That's the team I am rooting for. #getoffmylawn
  22. 4-2 in the last six. When do they ship the Texas State Champs flag to Oracle?
  23. This is the way. Different conference, same bunch of jags. Fuck all of them.
  24. I don't question whether the Hindenburg crashed. I assume it did, however.
  25. We've unfortunately been through this many times (in other sports), and there are always people who don't want to move on. I am too lazy to go back through ancient posts but I am sure there were people who wanted to give Charlie "one more year". I ran into people like that the night after the KU loss in Lawrence. "He needs one more year to turn it around, etc etc" I don't understand the psychology behind it, and I don't care to because it's a ridiculous position. The program trajectory is pointed down. Next year you've got a very young team, if Pierce can keep the class together. And we know he isn't going to hammer the portal. He doesn't have the capital to do so even if he gets off his ass. The much better move is to aim at 2026, bring in a new vision, and if you hit a HR hire you still have time to get the portal hot and bridge the transition. This thing is over, no matter how much people want to light prayer candles and hope and make ridiculous specious arguments for the status quo.
