  1. Yeah someone definitely spit in your food. If you're lucky, that's all they did.
  2. Honestly I don't really remember because Notre Dame is completely irrelevant. I seem to remember he looked like a bad ass in our game in South Bend.
  3. Now I am interested to see where the opener against Louisiana gets slated. You'd think the LHN games would be Rice and Kansas. The Cajuns carry enough hype into 2021, with a likely preseason Top 25 ranking, that I think it might get pulled into ABC/ESPN as a lead in to Miami- Alabama. I have a bad feeling we might get the dreaded 11am ABC spot for this one. For what it's worth Matt Sarz is still predicting 7pm LHN kickoff for this game.
  4. Arrington was one of my favorite college players ever. Him and Leonard Little. And of course #1 is Derrick Johnson. I like linebackers. I don't like any of the ones on this fucking team, but hopefully Parsons, Cox, et al change that.
  5. All my shit expired last year. Do I need to renew the passport first and get that back and then renew GE or can I do it all at the same time?
  6. There it is. Tennis ladies, wrap it to on time, please.
  7. Why is the conservative internet running around claiming scoreboard on this and crowing about the conservative justices? It was a unanimous decision. And imo, the correct one. I am no 2A pom pom waver, but I like limiting our police depts from doing warrantless seizure of property wherever possible.
  8. Sorry if you don't know how it works, guy. The SEC's ability to demand a certain time slot for a specific game would be suggesting that despite paying 174 million dollars for 2021 TV rights, ESPN forgot to negotiate the ability to have control over the time windows of games. Your gif is more appropriate for that insane notion. The SEC can tell ESPN what they want. And the Mouse will respond by saying "lol" The game will likely end up on prime time because the schedule isn't top heavy that week and because, well, Texas. Not because the SEC said pretty please.
  9. Name it Salvador Dolly and add a zero to that price my man.
  10. Conferences don't get to pick the time of games. The networks do. The networks basically do a draft, for lack of a better term, based on order of rights and numbers of appearances, etc for each conference under their TV deals. Given that Ohio State Oregon was announced, I presume that draft is complete and we should see kick times for other games start rolling out.
  11. I don't seem to remember CBS picking up a lot of (any?) SEC non conf games in the 230 window, but that may be because in the past CBS had US Open tennis around that time of year. And also the SEC usually had some early season conf matchups in weeks 2 and/or 3 that would get the 230 spot. This year ESPN has the full US Open, including the women's final 4p-7p on that Saturday. Would they lead that into Texas at Arkansas at 7 or 730 on ESPN? Seems possible.
  12. Which is funny, because that approach actually makes the game feel boring. If they don't care about what's happening, why should the viewer? In the first inning the ESPN dopes are rambling like local broadcasts teams would do if the game was 15-2 in the 4th.
  13. The ESPN Sunday broadcasts are so bad that one would think they're actively trying to kill the sport.
  14. For years he's kept trying to make that a thing. But it's never going to become a thing.
  15. If there was a vaccine that would keep people from believing what idiots post on Facebook, I wouldn't care what any misinfo morons post on Facebook.
  16. I'm not sure you understood my post. Think of it this way. If the only people who don't get vaccinated are idiot non vaxxers, then I could give a fuck what happens to the lot of them. Prior to the vaccine, we had a large swath of the population who was vulnerable. And there was nothing we could do for them other than try to help keep them safe by being responsible citizens. Now, the only vulnerable people are those who choose to be. In short, fuck them.
  17. Were we supposed to be wearing our fuck trophies as a mask this whole time? Why didn't anyone tell me.
  18. I don't know man. Seems like to just let life take care of them. I don't understand the militant approach of anti vaxxers, and similarly I don't understand the militant approach towards anti vaxxers.
  19. Not sure I understand these. Anyone can get a vaccine. They're literally begging people to get one. If anyone wants to be obstinate and take their chances, go right ahead. If I throw a party or tailgate I don't care what anyone's vax status is. That's on you. It's like inviting someone out to a fancy dinner. It's not my problem if you come but you can't afford it and your credit card gets declined. Should have stayed home then, bitch. The only people at risk now are people who choose to be. There are no more innocent victims, who were the ones to protect over the past year-plus.
  20. I wonder if, for some people, some things won't just snap back like normal. During the middle of this thing I said I couldn't wait to just go out and hit a bar like I used to. Now I can do exactly that, but now I prefer just drinking beer in the backyard. People are fucking annoying.
  21. That's was a fun game all the way around. Good stuff.
  22. It can, if you've got enough want-to.
  23. I might go try Dayne's today. Been meaning to do that and this is some good outside drinkin weather.
  24. I always like to picture the horses in a slow trot, the spectators confused as shit about the worst horse race ever.
  25. Lili's Bistro or Fixture on Magnolia.
