  1. Hell, laugh at them. Just don’t let the cops off for giving you the chance.
  2. I wouldn’t say “bad person.” Sometimes things are funny when they probably shouldn’t be. I’m just saying anything that minimizes this crap, even when they do it to rich white guy, is counterproductive. Be just as mad whoever they’re fucking
  3. All the more reason not to diminish it, regardless of who they do it to. Right?
  4. He did roll it down. Just write the fucking ticket, Cartman. But, yeah, it’s a simple truth that cops are usually allowed to get away with this stuff.
  5. Three times wouldn’t be a stretch barring injuries and self-inflicted issues.
  6. Regardless, it’s a bitch move to minimize cops’ bullshit. It reeks of “it’s not as bad if they do it to him,” which is a super weak and enabling take. It’s OK to treat it seriously regardless of the demographics of who’s getting fucked over.
  7. He whipped his man and he grabbed. The grab had zero impact on the outcome.
  8. You think being an idiot gives a cop the right to use force?
  9. “Don’t provoke force the sociopath to demonstrate his sociopathy.” Lovely.
  10. Barney Fife knew the law. There’s a reason he used to be the joke. Now he’d be praised. There was not one fucking iota of any indication these cops were in fear. They were imposing authority. Period.
  11. “Don’t provoke the sociopath.” Lovely.
  12. He took three seconds to get out. Even though it was raw power and escalation to want him out in the first place.
  13. Agreed. “Do you know how fast you were going?” “Where you headed?” “You had anything to drink?” “What’s your favorite color?” One answer to rule them all.
  14. The answer is, “I’d rather not answer any questions.”
  15. Last I read, and it’s been a minute, cops “can’t” extend the stop to wait for a dog. But, yeah, driving below the speed limit is “suspicious” because drug couriers do it. It’s fucked up.
  16. Like an expired inspection, unsafe lane change, failure to follow at a safe distance, and so on. There will always be reasons. I’ve been pulled over for a brake light that was “out” when I could see it reflected in his windshield.
  17. Yes, as far as I’m concerned, that’s the end of the argument. This is on the cops, however more polite Tyreek could have been.
  18. And that’s the fucking problem.
  19. The cop can expect whatever the fuck he wants. He’s a law enforcement officer, not an expectations enforcement officer.
  20. You’ve already acknowledged that he shouldn’t have been pulled out and cuffed. Who did the pulling and the cuffing?
  21. Where did the cop say one word about a buffer zone? Fuck, he wouldn’t let him leave.
  22. They said nothing about his hands. There was no need for any orders. Go write the fucking ticket and be done with it. The fact that this loon went off on another driver tends to show me that this isn’t about procedure, but about hurt feelings and imposing his authority. One of those people gets paid to be professional in that situation and to de-escalate it. No one needs cops like that. Or, frankly, with that temper and a gun.
  23. But they didn’t tell him to get out until the point it clearly had nothing to do with the original reason for the stop, though.
