  1. You’ve already acknowledged that he shouldn’t have been pulled out and cuffed. Who did the pulling and the cuffing?
  2. Where did the cop say one word about a buffer zone? Fuck, he wouldn’t let him leave.
  3. They said nothing about his hands. There was no need for any orders. Go write the fucking ticket and be done with it. The fact that this loon went off on another driver tends to show me that this isn’t about procedure, but about hurt feelings and imposing his authority. One of those people gets paid to be professional in that situation and to de-escalate it. No one needs cops like that. Or, frankly, with that temper and a gun.
  4. But they didn’t tell him to get out until the point it clearly had nothing to do with the original reason for the stop, though.
  5. Any that apply here?
  6. I took “everyone else” to mean the three teams under discussion.
  7. Really? You don’t expect it to be said a second time or wait more than three seconds? I don’t want to live in a world where that’s expected and acceptable cop behavior.
  8. Or, fuck, giving more than 2 nanoseconds for compliance with getting out of the car, even though that was horseshit escalation.
  9. Pretty please. With sugar on top. Roll down the fucking window.
  10. Tyreek could have been more cooperative and courteous. Again, though, since what he did didn’t justify getting pulled out and cuffed, who is ultimately at fault for that?
  11. Probably my imagination, but he almost seemed more like an eligible OT last season, as far as speed and mobility. Even if I’m a dumbass and he’s exactly the same as last year, he’s faster and more agile than I remember. Maybe it was just compared to JT.
  12. Texas could beat Georgia who beats Ole Miss. All three win out, otherwise. Texas plays Georgia.
  13. Watching one of many YouTube recaps one of the guys called him a “safety valve” and then said, basically, “No, that’s not right. He’s a weapon.” Pretty bad ass.
  14. I didn’t call you anything. Since he shouldn’t have been dragged out and cuffed, who ultimately bears the responsibility here?
  15. Now maybe we’re getting somewhere. Since Tyreek didn’t deserve to be face down in cuffs, who’s ultimately responsible for that decision?
  16. He’s going to get the ticket, either way. Maybe he pays it. Maybe he doesn’t. That has nothing to do with what the cops did. Tell me again, what did he do to justify that force? Bear in mind, that standard won’t just be applied to people you don’t like.
  17. Yeah, he said there was an 8 yard difference in field goal comfort, depending on the direction. That’s some sweet planning even though you expect to put a boot up their ass.
  18. Who’s claiming that? My claim is that nothing he did justified being forcefully pulled from the car, put face down on the pavement, and cuffed. Do you think he did something to justify that? What, exactly?
  19. No. Saying nothing is the opposite of saying he’s guilty. You don’t plead your case on the side of the fucking road. Still don’t understand why the “trained and professional peace officer” acted like an authoritarian sociopath. Against multiple drivers.
  20. Why should he answer the question? So the cop doesn’t lose his temper? You’re pointing your finger in the wrong direction.
  21. He cleaned things up pretty well for the last 55 minutes of the game, after the questionable at best holding call.
  22. Tyreek has no obligation to talk to him. Granted, I don’t know Florida law, but I’m guessing “disrespect” and “attitude” aren’t illegal or a reason to cuff someone.
  23. Or for someone else.
  24. He doesn’t have to answer that question. It could’ve been avoided if the cops had written a ticket and sent him on his way.
  25. At least their shirts are the right color.
