  1. Texas plays maybe sixteen times a year. I’m not saying they’re all equally exciting, but if you can’t get excited about each of those few games, well…
  2. Yeah, no doubt. I think it was his Instagram (TikTok?) showing him in the Co-op, panning all the burnt orange gear and then doing a little head shake. Someone here told a story about running into him and his Dad and his Dad was just so proud of him. And the commercial where he beats Texas on NCAA. He and Klatt are probably my two favorite guys to listen to right now.
  3. Leinart actually seems to be a pretty cool guy at this point. And going to the locker room with Bush was nice. And he knows now that Texas was the better team. But whether it went down to the last minute or not, he said what he said.
  4. Well… I don’t want to say Ewers is carrying Texas, but a lot of people in burnt orange have made a similar transition. It’s almost like years in the system under a guy who knows QBs can be helpful.
  5. Their transition from “Ewers is an overrated bust” to “Ewers is carrying them” is glorious.
  6. I mean, fair, but that one play was enough to win the game outside of a garbage time TD. The good thing is that even if the D does that, it’s just going to leave some other Uber-talented guy with a chance to be open.
  7. Didn’t Blue score on one where they forgot to cover him?
  8. I feel like the running back passing game is pretty comparable to pitches and sweeps in practice, they just don’t count as rushing yards.
  9. He took the foot off the gas. Run clock, shorten the game, get out without additional injuries, protect the playbook, take the win, celebrate, go home. Manning should play a lot next week.
  10. I think “maybe” covers that pretty well, doesn’t it?
  11. I think I’ve figured it out. When Michigan loses later, it means the sip win didn’t mean much. When ND loses later, it means they prepped for A&M all offseason and means nothing.
  12. “Plus, rankings and records mean nothing.” Yeah, well, I’m going to say there’s definitely some correlation there.
  13. Arkansas wasn’t ranked. Michigan may not be. That’s why I say it’s still James Street.
  14. James Street beating #2 Arkansas and #13 SMU? The Arkansas win beats the Alabama win. By the time the season is over, the SMU win probably beats Michigan. For marquee value of working two currently ranked blue bloods on their own field, though, Ewers looks better.
  15. I know fuck all about him, but I’m super happy for the NIU coach. That’s bad ass.
  16. This is 1972 Olympic basketball bad.
