  1. This storm is hauling ass today. Blew through in about 15 minutes. The grade of my home helped with the 90+ straight line winds. My Aunt and uncle 75 miles west and folks 55 miles south both had some tree damage but nothing major, but for the same cell to catch us all is wild. It smelled like an April day this morning so you knee is was going to be nuts.
  2. So Dan Lanning played in college for the guy that was Head Coach at my alma mater for 20 years as sort of an NAIA Kirk Ferentz before going to William Jewell, and I really hope he picked up that coaches habit of using Cheese and crackers as an all purpose profanity
  3. Expected at least 50 dead in a candle factory, likely 70-100. Plus a nursing home in Arkansas and Amazon warehouse in Illinois got hit. It sounds like it will be a record for time on the ground as well. I’d also assume there are going to be massive law suits if there wasn’t any shelter for workers in the plant and they worked through a well advertised event https://www.wlky.com/amp/article/western-kentucky-tornado-mayfield-bowling-green-weather-beshear/38490463
  4. I ordered a baby Bronco on 9-29, (after they wouldn't take the order in June), I didn't even try to mess with ordering a big one for now for the reasons you illustrated. I figured I'll just turn it over to the wife when the supply of the big ones catches up.
  5. I can figure out why I just think it’s dumb as duck that anyone tries to make it into a big deal. It’s not like he’s the first to fake something, and he’s not going to be the last, and they caught everyone involved in the deal so why give a fuck?
  6. The fact that anyone gave a shit about this case baffles me to no end.
  7. So my vehicle started down the line today a month later than originally expected
  8. Better than being late hit by Sooners into a bench
  9. The employees would probably rather deal with the smash and grabs rather than the usual assholes that patronize those places
  10. Decatur is best known as home of everyone’s favorite Agribusiness multinationals Archer Daniels Midland
  11. Who would have thought ICP was the most sensible out of 90's Detroit rappers.
  12. I got my Moderna yesterday after. A little sluggish but was more sore after the flu shot
  13. I've got my vin. I'll check it out on the sport forum. How has the full sized been? I decided I didn't want to mess with the wait on it (for all the good it did me), and figured I'd get a sport now, and roll that over to the wife once stuff calms down and the Big Bronco push has calmed down.
  14. I'm somewhat optimistic I'll have it by my birthday in February
  15. So my build date has been slid twice so far to the week of the 29th now.
  16. Alternatively, Scott Frost has had one winning season as a head coach, and is generally so bad at getting a team ready to win, that he has only won 1 game coming out of a bye week.
  17. ICP has been great on COVID stuff this entire time too.
  18. Maybe but the conservative ones that do will let you do anything you'd like.
  19. Just did that a couple weeks ago at RMNP, would second that motion, same with staying in Estes
  20. The Pork Checkoff made October pork month for the reason too. Supply peaks, and Thanksgiving is a turkey holiday so you need to push right now so you don’t have a cold storage hangover when you should be tightest on supplies into summer
  21. Month-ish usually. If we hit a real hog liquidation cycle maybe too. Reason McRib season is when it is that it matches up with peak sow cull season.
  22. Knocked back a couple for Lunch today, as chopped and formed meat slurry is my cultural culinary heritage.
  23. It’s almost like making meat packing jobs as bad as possible, keeping to workforce as transient as possible, and keeping spare capacity as limited as possible worked perfectly
  24. The packers especially beef packers have made a killing but numbers are starting to shift to the cattleman’s favor. Pork guys have done better recently but it’s tighter. Beef and pork wholesale has been backing up seasonally and production is good so if your store doesn’t have any it’s trucking. Certain specialty processing has some labor issues and Smithfield had a walkout in Sioux City, but no major issues like Kellogg and Deere with their strikes.
  25. Wildcat strike by Anti-vaxxers? Other fuck ups? It seems like the other airlines are haven't reported issues. Either way, I'm glad I decided to go ahead and drive my mountain trip this weekend.
