Bandwagon smack? Sounds like "t-shirt sip" smack. Now, who do we know who does that ... ?
But I get it.
All of you diehard Astros fans are on such solid ground to talk smack about bandwagon fans.
Because in the early 2010s you didn't just show up, you downright mega-fan teams like the Rays, with the Astros finishing an impressive 3rd to last in MLB attendance in those years.
So yeah you can talk ghost towns ... ghost town ... damn, that reminds me of something Astros related also, a bit more recently.
I remember now -- the ghost town of the little kiddie train ballpark in the Game 6 ALCS.
All those die-hard Astros fans had somewhere to go REAL quick that night, before the game even ended. All aboard the ghost train.
And, if you look real close at this picture I took that night, you may just see a dude in a maroon Astros shirt.
Wait, maroon is an Astros color now? I guess so. It was one of many people that night repping the maroon Astros.
So don't worry. The Astros didn't get their ass beat in that game and series.
Y'all just ran out of innings.
