  1. I was in Berlin years ago with a group of guys coming from a weekend wedding in Poland. I'm pretty sure half of us had alcohol poisoning. Somebody suggested going to this "Mexican" restaurant. The queso was high school football game nacho cheese. I ordered the hamburger to be safe. The other guys food looked terrible.
  2. When he won at augusta in 07 was the worst weather I've ever seen there. Im not a fan of his personally but never thought of him as a bitch.
  3. DJ shot 77 because he had roughly 48 puts.
  4. There have been 84 Masters and 118 US Opens. The have 10 or so courses in the regular rotation. They should have it down by now.
  5. So does the USGA. The fact that they are stuffier than the Augusta committee says volumes. At least they admitted they got it wrong.
  6. Every aspect of this tournament is inferior to the masters. The broadcast, the crowds, the setup, the hospitality tents. Such a shame.
  7. This isn't baseball. It's not guaranteed.
  8. You're a California guy and never heard of birdwell?
  9. This is a kick to the balls. I think why this hurts more than other celebrities is because he was a man of the people. He could have posted here as a number of our members and we wouldn't have known the difference. I sincerely hope hes in a better place. I think he had no reservations about his final resting place.
  10. Maybe GSO or Angelo Gordon and the like?
  11. Ones that sell for $6 billion you generally know of.
  12. I guess I meant for those that actually developed the asset and not just the land flippers.
  13. Solid company. Probably the biggest winners of the previous cycle for a private company.
  14. It wouldn't hurt him professionally obviously, but nailing axe was never about that for Chuck.
  15. There is no way the show doesn't end without either Chuck or Axe going down.
  16. So how many episodes left?
  17. Also we haven't even discussed 60's country yet.
  18. See this is where the personal touch comes in. The 60's were like an advanced 80's. So many different genres from the beginning to end of the decade. Motown and early Beatles, etc. morphed into the Vietnam era stuff, and finished going into the 70's rock era. it's a tough question to answer.
  19. The question wasn't what are the best songs of the 60's. I agree with jimmy's list of top bands that were left off the list, but when you think of the quintessential 60's songs it mainly has to do with the war and what led up to it during our "advisory" period there. When one thinks of the 60's the biggest things that stick out are JFK, the war, and the political strife at home.
  20. To me the quintessential 60's song has to be in the mid to late 60's, so in my best John Cusack voice: Top 5 quintessential 60's songs: Buffalo Springfield-For What it's Worth CCR-Fortunate Son Animals-House of the Rising Son Simon & Garfunkel-Mrs. Robinson Bob Dylan-Blowing in the Wind
