  1. Yep. And it is every bit of wonderful you would expect it to be. Nobody arguing over what to see and whether it was any good. No obligation to feed them or judge you for eating crap food.....unless some jack hole doesn't obey the unwritten rules of theater etiquette.
  2. I did. Which is why this is trivial. But the fact that they are reserved seats and the buyer knowingly selected seats next to someone in a mostly empty theater bugs the shit out of me.
  3. check the reviews on youtube. 1up arcade machines are good for some games, not so good for others.
  4. Fuck me. I go to movies during the day so I don't have to sit next to anyone. I also go to reserved seating theaters because USUALLY people understand the unwritten rule: in a mostly empty theater, you do not select seats next to anyone else. You get your own arm rest and you don't have to hear them chewing popcorn and drinking soda or smell their gas. Situation: I went to see overlord for the first show of the day. Theater has 8 rows and 14 seats in each row. I bought my ticket 10 minutes before the show started so most of the people going are already there or have already purchased tickets. I chose the 4th row with two seats between me and the only other people on my row. 5 seats to my right are empty. The row behind me only has 1 person on it. As the credits are about half way done, two people walk in and where do they sit: BETWEEN ME AND THE PEOPLE TO MY LEFT. Not only are they now invading my arm rest, they are invading the guy who like me assumed he would have his own arm rest. The theater is 75% empty or more and this cock knocker gets a choice at the box office of where to sit, sees two spaces and thinks, "yeah, that is where I have to be". I have never been so upset I couldn't muster up a fart.

    PSVR

Anyone have experience with PS VR? What games do you like? I'm picking up one for black friday (hopefully) and getting Batman for sure....after that what next?
  6. I agree with this. The whole movie I kept thinking Bradley Cooper was doing his best Crazy Heart Jeff Bridges and doing it pretty well.
  7. It was just what I was expecting. Mad Nazi scientist experimenting on the people they invaded in an attempt to dominate the world. They aren't the first to explore zombie nazis but they did a decent job. I give it a B-. Such a secret project wouldn't have been that close to the front lines so that is a little hard to believe but, you know, zombies so who am I to complain. And it could have been so much better with some better action shots and more zombies. The zombies were 28 days later/WWZ types (raging runners). There were some cool shots (looking at you talking spinal chord) and plenty of gore. I thought the lead actor did a pretty good job. Some of the support, not so much.
  8. I thought open houses were where RE agents got leads on new clients.
  9. Don’t waste that clock just yet. Please get a first down
  10. That game really hits its stride when you level up enough to get about half of the skills. And the frozen wilds expansion is a challenging add-on.
  11. Hot deals thread not good enough for you?
  12. Bring on black friday.... I always spend more than I should but occasionally find great deals. I'm good on the usual great discounts like TVs and other electronics. I'll be looking to spend a gamestop gift card for trading in a ps4 a while back. PS4 games, PSVR set and/or steering wheel. Probably be looking for a riflescope (academy has a Nikon for $100 off down to $119, but I bet there will be some other higher end scopes with big discounts elsewhere). I really don't know what else to shop for this year, but that won't stop me from browsing.
  13. One way to check is to head over to care.com and see what it would cost to hire one from there. $15/hr sounds about right.
  14. great suggestion. Opticsplanet had my head spinning. So I went with the Sig for now. I looked at a few today. Great suggestions. I was looking at leupold, vortex and nikon at academy. All seem like great options especially in the $200-400 range. Like I mentioned above, I went with the sig. Seemed like I couldn't go wrong with that as the first scope I will have purchased. My dad's rifle still has one on it and it is zeroed. The remington has the scope that came with it in a trade a couple years ago. The name on the scope (Mueller) isn't anything I recognized and didn't seem very good which is what had me shopping. I think the Sig will be better than what my dad's rifle has mounted currently and way better than the mueller on the remington. If I feel the need to improve, I'll take another look at the Vortex Viper HS 2.5x10x44 or a Leupold VX-3i 3.5x10x40 mentioned by reagan. thanks for the help
  15. That’s the hitmans bodyguard
  16. Post #1 then continue until you get to your post. Kidding. Pull em. Burn em. Poison em.
  17. Thanks for the responses. That gives me a starting off point for pricing some stuff. Might use it for deer. I’ve never gone but a friend of mine has a lease and we’ll head out there in a couple weeks. Might just be a once a year range trip to BOTW. Not real sure yet. The gun I think is a $600 gun so I had always heard the scope should be about that so maybe $400-600.
  18. Need advice on a scope: Remington SPS 700 .270
