  1. He's truly breathing through his eyelids like the lava lizards of the Galapagos now. RIP, 'Nando.
  2. Can confirm on those Utz Red Hots. Don't see them out this way very often, but whenever I'm back East, I pick up a bag or two at local 7-Elevens. Good stuff.
  3. Enough Yinzer talk. Y'all go drink some Yuenglings!
  4. The ending of that Boston opener was unintentionally hilarious. Despite the large margin, watching the Celts brick trey after trey had me rolling. Kinda wanted to see them make history but not enough to care or do anything but laugh. And Dalton Knecht is going to make my Spurs wish they'd used their second pick on him. Said it before the draft and will continue to say it--he'll be a contributor in the league. Probably not a star, but a solid third option for several seasons.
  5. Fine. If police unions wish to bully departments into re-hiring cops who are bad at their jobs and/or abuse the public trust, then find some legal loophole that requires those same unions pay for civil settlements.
  6. This has to be a bit at this point, right? If so, hats off for the Helobious-level trolling.
  7. He's so fucking lazy, he actually uses a double for stairs. The Space Ice YouTube channel does a great job of satirizing Seagal's complete and unmitigated shittiness.
  8. Good for him. One step at a time. One day at a time.
  9. There was also Disu not being able to play, Carr getting hurt in the second half, and a heap of horrible officiating. But, yes, other than that, Miami's lenf on the perimeter was a significant advantage.
  10. Welp, that was an ass-kicking. Georgia was stronger in the trenches on both sides of the ball. 'Horns defense wasn't great but played well enough to win only to be let down by the offense and its punter. Gotta throw some blame on Sark & Co., too, because Georgia seemed to have better game plans on offense and defense. They looked strong. Our 'Horns did not.
  11. True. But they conferred before announcing the call. Then play stopped as fans began to low-key riot, and then refs reversed the call. It was a bizarre sequence and not something that "happens all the time."
  12. I dunno. It was an egregiously bad call, but it shouldn't have been reversible, so I'd be infuriated if I were him, as well. Dangerous precedent.
  13. The leagues may change, but the bullshit calls stay the same.
  14. Waiting? I was outspokenly critical last week ... and two years ago, pretty much from the start of his career. He probably has the strongest arm in Texas QB history, but he's not a reliable passer. Accuracy and consistency have always been issues ... and it all starts with his base. His footwork is terrible and he throws off his back foot because he's afraid to step into a throw and/or take the hit.
  15. He's always had bad footwork, he's always been scared to take a hit, he's always had questionable accuracy and terrible touch, and he's always needed too long to throw. Combine the above with whatever funk he's in ... and he's the weak link on this team. It was painfully obvious last week, but the Surly groupthink was too "hurrdurr that's our QB!" to permit such talk.
  16. I wonder how that conversation went. KIM: In my country, hundreds of thousands starve because our policies are crap and we don't produce enough food. PUTIN: In my country, hundreds of thousands die because I send them to Ukraine to fight war of ego. KIM: I have idea. I send you some of my people as troops so you can feed them while they fight for you. If they die, it is win for you because your people live, and it is win for me because it is less mouths to feed. PUTIN: Fewer.
  17. This lady's not exactly high on the charm meter, but being treated like a criminal simply for answering the door in your underwear in the middle of the night tends to sour the ol' disposition. During the arrest, she claimed to be married to an ex-cop and a "Back the Blue" advocate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxOzALipvJs (YouTube won't allow embedding but it's worth a watch.) Incidentally, all criminal charges were dropped almost immediately, though a civil suit is now pending. Also, the police never contacted the husband, nor did they ask him to collect the dog as they told her they would. Instead, they left it with Animal Control.
  18. I could see that firing back--err, backfiring--horribly.
  19. This lineup can't string three passes together.
  20. Nice free kick. Utterly undeserved but refs gonna ref.
  21. Nice moment for Andres. He came up at about the same time as Bradley the Younger.
  22. Possibly a terrible ripoff--or subtle homage--to one of the greatest game show skits SNL ever aired.
