  1. Fuck yeah. Moar El Tri cautions, please. Argetina's Olympic team was acting just as bitchassed after losing to France the other day. But you know the difference? The Albiceleste have stars on their crest. El Tri ain't got shit!
  2. Yup. Huge goalkeeping gaffe. If you come off your line, you better get to the ball. On the other hand, him coming off the line caused the El Tri player to be offsides! lmao But that was pure luck.
  3. Phew! Got away with one, even if that's the correct call. That was some poor play from the US there and lucky that El Tri didn't tie it up.
  4. Not very good defending/goalkeeping there.
  5. That is indeed a cracking shot.
  6. Fuck, I totally forgot.
  7. Dude, it would rival the Olympics for entertainment value ... at least, before it turned into a snuff film.
  8. Jesus, he's just an awful person. Worse and worse by the day. A true nutter.
  9. Fuck! NBC won't allow this video to embed. It's Scheffler related (golf medals ceremony). Worth watching. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-gTCkds9WA
  10. He was something else. That's why one must watch these athletes while one can ... their careers are relatively short and you never know when someone like them will come along again. I mean, consider Wayde Van Niekirk. He surged on to the scene late in 2015 by winning the World Championships, then stormed the Rio Olympics by breaking a record many (self included) thought would last for decades, nearly cracking 43 seconds in the process. His future was effulgent. He wins the World Championships the next year ... and then he destroys his knee in a charity rugby match a couple of months later and has never been the same since.
  11. He's the 🐐 for a reason. Nobody today can touch what Usain, Yohan, Tyson and Justin were throwing down 10-15 years ago. But such is sport. Others will come along. Keep in mind that Noah is a 200m specialist. Kerley originally featured in the 400m. Now they are Olympic medalists in the 100m. So when some pure 100m specialists appear, the times will drop accordingly. Even so, who cares? We just witnessed the closest 100m final ever!
  12. Chest is what determines finish, not head, legs or arms. Each line you see is drawn across the chest of the competitors, theoretically right at the finish.
  13. I thought it went Thompson-Lyles-Kerley until they showed the slow-mo with a better angle. Fuck me, that was a fun day of track!!!
  14. I'll keep saying it: If Lyles gets off the line quickly and comes through the turn in first, he's going to throw down a 19.2 in the 200m final.
  15. I have never seen a final that across-the-board close. I mean, look at that photo finish. The whole field is all packed within a couple of meters of each other.
  16. Thompson with Lyles and Kerley 2 and 3, I think.
  17. Definitely not ready for this final. All I'm asking is a clean sweep for the U-S-A. That's not so much, is it?
  18. Hobbs and Yared make it through easily! This is the deepest middle distance team the US has ever sent to the Olympics. Problem is, the entire field is deeper than it's ever been.
  19. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic: why do they call it Hammer Throw when it's not remotely a hammer?
