  1. Unfortunately, I have to neg you for this. On principle.
  2. After two Dominicans simulate being mortally wounded on only slight contact, another Dominican flagrantly kicks at a Spaniard's jewels and is shown straight red. Never change, CONCACAF.
  3. Spain scores early versus the Dominican but the Quisqueyanos equalize about 15 minutes later.
  4. That's an expensive afternoon for the Russkies. Me likey.
  5. Satchmo also celebrated her catalog. Always loved how his voice and trumpet shared the exact same vibrato ... at least later in life.
  6. Assuming he was Heer, and because his collar patches are bright from end to end, my guess is he was either a colonel or captain, which are quite far apart. If the shoulder straps were sharper, it'd be easy to determine which. Here's a reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranks_and_insignia_of_the_German_Army_(1935–1945)#/media/File:Heer_Rank_Insig_from_War_Dept_Handbook.jpg
  7. Shit. They better start seining the Seine for stiffs ...
  8. Best thing, Duncan doesn't give two shits about this ranking. Meanwhile, LeBron and Kobe (if he were still around) obsess about stuff like this. That said, I've no hatred for LBJ. What he's doing at his age is nothing short of amazing. And I think @Pam Cummings makes a solid point--that 2016 title over the 73-9 Warriors was special.
  9. Stop illin'. It's all about who can pop, lock and bust the freshest. We just need to unleash the Cosmic F on 'em. Word.
  10. I think it's funny. Then again, I never got that triggered over Spygate and Deflategate so ... Also, kudos to Marsch.
  11. YouTube algorithm recommended this gem recently. The F-15QA is an exclusive version for the Qatari Emiri Air Force. They supposedly ordered 36 with an option for 36 more. First one was delivered in 2021. Check out those maneuvers, man. Like @ about the 2:30 mark. Keep in mind that this plane, in clean configuration, can accelerate vertically and tops out at Mach 2.5+. The basic 50-year-old design remains but it's now fully FBW with updated avionics and systems from nose to nozzle. It's only weaknesses are cost and lack of stealth.
  12. That's actually from the O.G. Breakin'. But I see your awkward JCVD dance and raise you these:
  13. I know you're trolling, and I chuckled, but the USWNT cares about money, and they leveraged their success and the current political landscape (some might argue spuriously) to try and maximize their money.
  14. Saying she threw an elbow? Or last defender? Either way, seems excessive.
  15. Fair on Kenny but a bit unkind to Shaq. His booming, falling-out-of-his-chair laughs at Charles' comments make him worth keeping. Plus, I feel like Charles elevates his bits once Shaq gets to chuckling. The routine wouldn't work as well without Shaq and Chuck feeding off one another. It's not unlike Martin and Lewis. Sure, Deano had the looks and all the talent, but Jerry still needed to be there to round it out. Also, we wouldn't have had this without The Big Aristotle.
  16. Spain actually expects the Portuguese Inquisition?
  17. Rest of the World: When will the bowl haircut go out of fashion? Japan: Never.
  18. You played women's handball? Did you dominate, or were you JAG?
  19. This is such an underrated/unsung gem. The Coen Bros. have made several great movies, and I consider Miller's Crossing one of their best, if not THE best, yet it rarely gets mentioned. It's not as funny as O Brother or Raising Arizona, not as quotable as Lebowski, not as bizarre as Barton Fink, and not as dark as Fargo or No Country. It's just a masterpiece, an homage to "gangster noir" films of the past. Gabriel Byrne's performance is sublimely subtle--the perfect complement to Turturro and Polito's characters. To others here: if you've never seen Miller's Crossing, or if it's been some time since your last viewing, please give it a watch.
