It's partly true, there's always lots of illegals and legals in El Paso and other border towns. There are times when there's more than a lot of them. That's when the people of those towns, I can only speak for El Paso, come out and help them. Usually the city provides the shelter, the people provide the food, and they're glad to do it. It's a big operation, but one they do it every time, then things settle down and go back to normal.
I think those that watch news, one in particular, get blown away by a load of bullshit that make it look like an American town is no more and Mexico has invaded, that's it's chaos. I watch that news channel every time I visit my mom and it's amazing how far they go to make everything a worse case scenario on the border.
Church groups have huge cookouts every day for them. People bring water by the truck load. Families bring toys and blankets and more food.
Anyways, I don't think the guy should lose his job, he should be banned from watching that news channel though.
