Good days pass and you will have bad ones. Bad days pass and you will have good ones, you just have to take it easy and trust this wild universe that'll be alright. The fucked up emotions you felt yesterday are the emotions that drove you to drink in the first place. I remember those well, those emotions shook me daily for a good while, it was realizing that they were over the top emotions, that I'm not that important of a guy and they to shall pass, and they did, that's what kept me sober. It's like a sharp blade that dulls, it'll stop cutting after a while.
In my early days of sobriety, I woke up every morning in pain, in anger and thanked God. I guess that was for me the only way to reel this run away train in. That was me, it may not be you, but you need to simplify your emotions and understanding of them. Good emotions, keep, bad emotions, don't dwell there, try your best to let go of them. Prayer, meditation, reading something that is reassuring to your process of sobriety.
I don't know your story, save for a couple posts, just take it easy and watch as things pass, both good and bad. There's a process to getting sober that we don't think will work until it does and has for a lot of people. Stay patient and enjoy the ride.
