Damn, I should have put some money in BYND. It’s going bonkers

Yeah, I’m down 40% on UURAF in just a few days. I’m still holding on to UUUU. I thought yesterday’s news with Australia’s partnership would maybe push this back to $24-25 but it’s dropping again. Hopefully good news comes Oct 23rd with a DOE announcement but that is just hope on my end. I’m going to wait till Thursday/Friday. If these stocks keeps dropping, I may just exit all together. Gonna take a loss on UURAF. I don’t have as much confidence after doing some reading on Ucore. I do think UUUU is positioned very well however. Listened to an interview with a long term investor that went the open house. Basically said big name banks, people from hedge funds and government officials were all there. UUUU is fully permitted and is already capable of producing heavy rare earth metals. I think their Q3 earnings will not be great as he stated they have been using their uranium mill to work on rare earth metals while the white mesa mill was worked on. Now they will use the white mesa mill to work on heart rate earths and their Arizona mill to will go back to producing uranium giving them two revenue streams. They are raising funds to double the size of the white mesa mill to meet demand for heavy rare earths. Ucore is not anywhere near this and I feel is more speculative and needs a lot of factors to fall in place. permitting can take years and UUUU is already permitted and ready to go. I just don’t know if this stock is going to stay in the $20+ range forever, it can easily drop back down to $15. I may eat my losses on Ucore and take my profits on Energy Fuels and walk away all together in the green. The ride up for the REE was unreal.

He made the playoffs at SMU, can easily recruit DFW, and has a wealthy alumni base looking for reasons to throw money at the program. Why the hell would be leave that for Arkansas, where the AD has publicly stated that their HC will need to work around their NIL limitations? As for the thread topic, I do think Sark is a talented OC. He has proven that early in his career and later in his career. I do think the book is out on how to defend his current system. He needs to make changes to his offense. I do think he has the ability to do that and do it well once he realizes he needs to do that. He stated as much in his press conference today about looking at himself in the mirror. Most HC’s can’t even do that. With that said, given everything on his plate, it is impossible for him to gameplan, think about adjustments, and carry on all the HC duties and do them all well. I think it would benefit him to hire someone that is willing to run his offense, take his feedback and direction, but can also spend every minute of the day game planning while Sark is busy performing HC duties. I think it would help him and this team if he was watching the game like the rest of us to allow him to make adjustments and coach his players vs thinking about which play to call next.

What happened was you have a true freshman LG and a back center playing together for the first time. Both had their first road start in their careers. Robertson couldn’t block anyone and Brooks basically couldn’t handle any stunts and twists. When you have a bad OL, try to simplify it. Instead of having them go backwards and pass protect, have them go forward and push someone. Except…. We have 1 running back on this entire fucking roster that can run and he’s beat up bc he’s a change of pace back that we have running inside. Sark gets a fucking failing grade for the offense he has put together this season. Wingo absolutely terrible. I cannot believe Sark used him in the same breath as Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams. He’s a jag that cannot get separation, has shitty hands, and is a shitty blocker. DeAndre Moore is our veteran WR leader and he showed his poor IQ last night. Endries can’t block for shit. He got abused last night. Arch can’t hit easy crossing routes, looks uncomfortable throwing a simple screen, and is mentally broken from the hits he has taken this season. This offense is on par with the Charlie Strong/Shawn Watson experiment. A total failure. Sark needs to have play sheet stripped of him. Get a legit OC. Hit the portal hard. Every position needs to be open to competition next year. Get rid of guys that are eating up money like Baxter and Wingo. You can’t produce? Then see ya later. This is a fucking business now. These players leave the minute they get a better offer. On the flip end, they need to be “cut” if they can produce on the field whether it be injuries or just plain sucking. And the offensive portal additions were fucking terrible. Good thing we got Mosley who can’t do shit while teams like aggy got Conception and Craver… guys that can get separation and can catch. Somehow, in year 5, we have a drastically worse offense than we had with fucking Casey Thompson in year 1.

There were some big volume buys over the last few days that gives me hope that institutions and betting on uranium. These sell offs seem more like retail investors taking their profits. Hoping the falls stop today and we see some momentum back in the positive. UUUU has their earnings report coming up. Hopefully some good news coming. Hopefully UURAF still trends upward. I don’t know as much about them as I do UUUU.
-
Yeah, I should have sold these at their peak. UUUU is taking a beating. Down to $20 after hours. UURAF made it's way back to $6 right at the close. Hope fully this rebounds back but whatever gains were made were lost and then some.
-
I normally just lose money if I buy a stock. Sorry to you all that had bought UURAF. It's falling like a dagger since I bought it.
-
Well, maybe I should have waited to buy. The REE stocks are all tanking today big time.
-
@Harrison Stafford Just bought700 shares of UURAF at $7.10. Not the massive position you have in it but want to ride the uranium train up. Tried to buy ARSMF but I moved funds over and it won't let me buy till funds clear for stocks under $1. Also looked at GPHOF. Which of these would you buy if you had to pick one?
-
UUUU broke $27 today. Crazy that we were talking about it breaking $17-18 2 weeks ago. AMYZF nearing 0.20. Perhaps this stocks isn’t dead yet. I’m just hoping to recover half my losses on this one and I’ll walk out happy.
-
I was driving my oldest to school. When I came home it was back over $8! Hopefully it dips down again.
-
Fuck! I was thinking about putting money in UURAF today. Did I miss the boat here @Harrison Stafford? Just had my 2nd kid 2 days ago and putting decent cash aside for his 529 but was thinking of putting it in UURAF instead. Wife is against the idea. If it drops, she’d cut me. She’s just now stopped rolling her eyes at me with my IBRX and AMY losses with the UUUU gains. But if this thing is going to $20, I may roll the dice.

Ofcourse. 4 of those 9 losses were against uga and Ohio state. And then of those 9, how many were in year 1 and 2 when he took over an absolute abortion of a roster left by Herman? I think there are only 2-3 active coaches that have an above .500 record against top 10 opponents. Those are Dabo, Smart, and Day if I remember. So unless one of them is coming here, you’ll still be displeased with the other 100+ coaches that also have a sub .500 record against top 10 opponents. I personally want Sark here. I don’t expect him to take us to the playoffs every year. But I do expect him to make a deep run every 2-3 years. He’s already proven that. He’s beaten our rivals more times than not, many in embarrassing ways. The guy is a fucking Bert Auburn missed FG away from having two conference championships. Recruiting is better than it ever has been. Roster is loaded with young talent. Now, I am also very frustrated like yourself about him not addressing the issues that this team had and still has. He got us out of the OL black hole we were trapped in for 15+ years. Let’s give the man a chance to do it again. Looks like Nick Brooks improved a ton in 1 week. Let’s see if these guys can gel. If so, everything is still in front of us. Hook ‘em man. Sorry, just feel good about this win after all the constant negativity.
-
Lol, get out of here. “Oh I really wish he would prove it against good defenses except don’t account the times he did in fact prove it. You see those were outliers but let’s not consider UGA or tOSU outliers”. Your biggest criticism of Sark is that he can’t beat Georgia or Ohio State. So unless you’ve got a coach lined up to take this job that is going to get over that hump, then enjoy the win and give the man his credit. ou is a damn good defense, likely top 5 in the country. We have had issues all year with a young OL. Today we we punched ou and kept punching and punching till they wore out. I’m pissed we didn’t go into the portal in the offseason but Sark isn’t a moron. Let’s allow him to coach this team. Some idiots were clamoring for Kiffin and Lanning all week. Idiots.
-
UUUU broke up to $22.37 earlier. $25 is looking like 2-3 days away at this rate. I was looking to exit above $20 but the way these rare earth stocks are shooting up, I’m not selling shit. If UUUU gets a government contract, it will be at $40+ in no time. Those two senators visiting the mill wasn’t just a fun field trip. Tripled my initial investment on UUUU. I’m now at break even on my losses with IBRX and AMYZF. Everything from here is green. Diamond hands fellas! Let’s go!

You had mentioned that you may sell a portion of your position when it hits $25, is that still the case? Or are we riding this up to $50?

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again

Remember when he was spewing that this was the most physical fall camp under Sark? Lmao -
100%. RB was an issue last year. I know Wisner had 1000 yards but everyone that watched him knew he was not an inside runner. We should have gotten a proven guy in the portal. If Baxter wanted to leave, so be it. No point in betting on a guy that can't stay healthy more than 2 games in a row. The ROI on the Baxter NIL package has to be absolutely terrible.
-
No, not at all. Sherman was a very good evaluator of talent. They recruited well while he was there. Herman was literally fired bc our recruiting went into the shitter. His last year, we were getting guys like Jaden Alexis, Casey Cain, Max Merrill. What Sark did with the Herman recruits was nothing short of amazing development. Herman didn’t do shit with his guys. Let’s not pretend like the roster was full of talent. Sark has been for the most part a good evaluator of talent and a good developer. The problem is we have a shit OL this year. That generally will be the case when you lose 5 of 6 starters over a 2 year period to the NFL. The back ups haven’t gotten many reps and nor were talented players sitting behind the initial haul of Banks and company. It is Sarks job to evaluate his roster and use the portal. This is where he fucked up. Same with our WRs. We have had 4 WRs ( should have been 5 with Bond), 2 TEs and 5 RBs drafted the last 223 years. He knows how to develop and recruit good talent. But he fucked up over estimating his room of Moore, Wingo, Livingstone. This shit is Sarks fault. But he also deserves the credit for turning around the program. Don’t discredit his success by pretending that we only won games because those were Herman’s recruits.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again

I still feel our boosters are motivated. Hell we just signed the #1 class and I can’t imagine that was cheap. I do think that with the house settlement, we cant just outbid and buy everyone like we were doing previously. Other teams can spend about the same money we can. I also think the mindset of us having to pay our guys to retain this roster was probably a bad move in hindsight. We should have gone hard after the Oregon OL, guys like Mario Craver, Noah Thomas, Branch. We should have gone hard after a RB instead of relying on Baxter who is made of glass. This staff over estimated who they had on the roster. I also feel Sark did not do enough to hire good support as far as analysts go. I remember when we brought in actual good coaches like Patterson, the special teams coach from the cowboys, the Wisconsin HC. I truly feel these guys thought that their same schemes would work and that we could just out talent everyone. He needs to hit reset button this off season on offense. -

Unfortunately the problems we have cannot be fixed this season. You cannot fix an o-line as bad as this. Look at ou last year on offense. Unfortunately we don’t have play makers like Bijan, Rojo, Worthy, where we can just hand it to a guy and hope he can carry the team. Right now for this team, it’s Parker Livingstone as the guy that we are relying on to make plays. -

long post… Multiple things can be true. Sark isn’t a shit coach. Dude took over a dumpster fire. Won us a conference championship when we were in a 15 year drought, took us to another one, two back to back semi final appearances, multiple award winners, all Americans, and the most NFL draft picks in a 2 year span in Longhorn history. Oh yeah, we’re recruiting about as well as I can remember. He gets credit for turning the program around and the guy is going to get more time than he probably deserves to fix the mess we are in. The mess we are in is solely on Sark. This roster has had very little turnover as far as guys leaving. The roster is how he wanted it. These are his hand picked players, his coaches, his schemes. I personally feel this entire program went into this offseason entitled. Sark thinks he’s Saban/ Carroll running a NFL program. This is still college football where you need to get as many reps as possible to a young team. We have been resting players all spring, all summer, through fall camp, and through the first 3 games. When was the last time you had the same starting 11 play more than 1 game this season. It’s clear this offense has no chemistry. It’s clear that they did not hit the weight room hard. It’s clear the coaches gameplan all offseason was that we were just going to out talent teams and use our depth. We joked about Napier and Venables running hard practices while we took a NFL approach with load management. Well we now have a soft fucking program and a soft fucking culture. These guys looked shell shocked yesterday like they did against Arkansas. We have not hit rock bottom yet guys. This team through 5 games has no identity, no play makers, undisciplined, no mental strength. Sark is going to have to take a long look in the mirror. I was always for Sark calling the plays, but with everything a HC has to do, he needs to pass off the game planning and play calling to a good OC that can spend his entire time on scheming and calling plays. He needs to re-evaluate the O-line schemes. His entire offense is predicated on running the ball and play action. When we can’t run the ball, this offense is broken. Nothing will fix it until we run the ball. Whether it’s personnel or scheme, him and Flood have to figure out something new bc what they are trying has been figured out. Teams like fucking UTEP dominated our OL. Our WRs scare no one. We went from playmakers like Worthy, Whittington, Mitchell, Golden, Bond to a group of JAGs who do not have any elite traits. They are not bad. But the reality is that that we have 4 WRs in Wingo, Moore, Livingstone, Mosley that all show be WR3. None of those guys would beat out any of the guys mentioned above. As for defense, PK is going to get some slack from me. For two seasons, we have been elite. But at some point you gotta scheme pass rush. You can’t just man up and play and hope to out talent big name programs that recruit at our level. DT recruiting was completely mismanaged by Sark and Bo that we are now suffering from it. We had to bring in 6 portal guys bc we literally had 2 freshman DTs on the roster. This is going to get worse before it will get better. He’s not going to be able to wave a wand and this OL becomes magically physical. We are going to get beat by ou, uga, aggy and probably will be in toss up games against the rest. This is a 5-7 and 6-6 type team like the 2021 team. We are in full blown rebuilt mode again. He’s shown he did it once, let’s see if he can fix his own mess now. We’re going to have to be find some play makers on offense and some OL in the portal this offseason. Offense needs to be completely revamped. Defense I feel can still be good with our major changes. Sorry for the rant but this season just stings considering where this program was, how we were recruiting, the hype, having a Manning, having players in the program with the same coaches, same system, the #1 ranking… and this is the product we got. We are not even remotely competitive offensively in games against power 4 defenses. That won’t get fixed this season unfortunately.- 8050 replies

Kansas in Sark’s 1st year.
-
I like how Sark keeps calling play action shots…. When we have 23 yards rushing with the RBs. Like who the fuck are you fooling?
-
Just remember, Sark gave them a light week the 1st week because of how beaten down they were from the gauntlet of Sam Houston, UTEP, and San Jose State. I’m glad our players have been well rested 1/3 of the way through the season. We will need those fresh legs if we are lucky to make the Alamo bowl.
