  1. I think Marcus Washington holding off Neyor says more about Neyor than Washington. Washington is a motivated and willing blocker but he’s a poor route runner and has average at best hands. He’s also slow. This tells me Neyor looks like Tarzan and probably is getting used to and/or struggling going up against power 5 DBs vs the type of players he was going up against at Wyoming. Probably makes sense why we’re going after Agiye Hall…

  3. Yeah, I didn’t bother fighting him until I leveled up much higher. It took me 2 weeks to just figure out how to play the basics aspects of this game. I try not to use the guides bc it’s so much more fun when you get surprised with bosses, new parts of the map, and animations.
  4. Up to Level 70 now. I really want to use some of these weapons but it’s hard to have balanced attributes. I went back to some other parts of the map at the beginning of the game and was crushing bosses. Also, I finally figured out how to summon other players. It’s nice having two other guys helping me and it’s helped me defeat a few bosses I had no business beating. They basically did the bulk of the work
  5. Hey man, beggars can’t be choosers. I’d take that gamble rather than watch Marcus Washington and Ovie play another down…
  6. Hall and Mathis would be huge for this team. Our WR starters are fantastic. After that, the rest of the position should be playing at Texas State. We’re 1 Whittington pending injury from having only 2 capable WRs. Mathis is the most important player for this defense. We legit done have a single capable or average pass rusher on campus.
  7. Herman and company took way too many small/light OL and way too man big slow WRs. Sark and company are looking for big dudes all around on the OL and D and speed at skill positions.
  8. Lol at Well’s confusing “nickel” with another word at the 19:55 mark
  9. If Bama doesn’t sleep through that game, aggy is 7-5 with barely beating a shitty Colorado team. They lose all of their D-line talent. They don’t have a QB and Jimbo’s offense is from the stone ages. They will lose 5 games again this year.
  10. Swoopes could throw it hard and far. That’s where his arm talent ends. Malik has much better touch and can make difficult throws on top of having a strong arm.
  11. The only thing similar about Murphy and Swooped is their size. Besides both being 6/5… they couldn’t be more different. Swoopes an insane athlete with no arm talent. Dude has been on an NFL roster despite playing TE. Murphy has a NFL arm but lacks experience and consistency. If Sark can develop him, he’s 1st round type of guy. He’s boom or bust.
  12. In 3 years of Card being here, he’s never dominated a game or practice and a kid that should still be going to prom right now apparently lit up the scrimmage with the 2nd team OL. This is going to play out like last year but I hope Sark gives Ewers all the first team reps on August and looks for any transfer QB this summer so we can have a capable backup as pretty much everyone is certain Card will transfer. Card played completely scared last year and would just sulk on the bench by himself last season. I’ve watched enough football to know that guys don’t rally behind QBs like that. Start Ewers and let’s try to get him as many reps as possible before conference play.
  13. It’s been no secret and other schools use it to recruit against us…. Basically that there are lots of distractions in Austin and that the players are focused. I’m glad Moro called those guys out. Surly needs to get him on a podcast for a Q&A.
  14. Not sorry if already posted
  15. Draft statistics and analytics show multi-sport athletes tend to be much more likely to get drafted and be impact players in college. This kid is an athletic freak and so is Kevin Banks. I’m really excited to see these guys. Cam Williams makes these two guys look small so I’m hoping Flood can actually develop a massive OL. We’ve had a few come through Texas only to bust.
  16. This team just has way too many question marks. We’re basically relying on a freshman QB and freshman LT to solve our issues on offense. Granted they are both very talented prospects, it’s still not a recipe for success. I feel a lot better about the offense. This defense is hot trash and even if we get a Mathis, LB and S are still huge questions marks. On top of that, we have no elite, hell even decent pass rushers on this team. Pair that with a coaching staff that got punked game after game last year… I’m not feeling all that hot about this defense. 8 wins would be progress but meh. I would not be surprised to see us at the 6-7 win mark. 9 wine and above, I’ll be ecstatic.
  17. You can read his lips and it looks like he was saying “keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth”
  18. Him and Terrence Brooks are elite talents. I think Finkley will be a very productive college player but not sure he has NFL size/measurables. Then you have some athletic freaks in Thompson, Tapp, Bledsoe. I also think BJ Allen will be a great program player and hopefully will lock down a safety spot. Let’s see, this class has serious talent. We need to stack it with another elite class and we should be ready to compete for the CFP if this coaching staff is half as good as people thought initially.
  19. I know a lot of guys have written Blue off and some don’t expect him to be on the team long term whether it’s a transfer or because of being kicked off his high school team. With that said, he was at one point the # 1 ranked RB in the class nationally prior to his senior year. The dude ran for over 2k in a though 6A district. I’ve watched his tape, he’s probably the best prospect we’ve signed at RB outside of Bijan in the last 7-8 years. Let’s hope he’s learned from his mistakes because I think this kid has NFL potential with his ability in space.
  20. Okay back on subject. Too many gaping vaginas in here right now…. This board needs a injection of sunshine. QB- Biggest QB recruit since VY. May bust out but every coach that has seen him play has drooled over him. If he busts, Sark’s career is basically done and we will probably be a laughing stock perception wise. Anyways, I will just go ahead and believe the these camp coaches and scouts that say he can make every throw and has been compared to Patrick Mahomes when it comes to arm talent. I’m going full blown drinking the koolaid that this kid is special like Bijan is special. RB: Best RB in the country and best RB room in the country. WR: We have 2 forsure NFL WRs 3 and done players in Neyor and Worthy. Worthy is a 4.4 guy at worst and most likely a 4.3 guy if my eyes aren’t lying to me. Neyor is a 4.4 guy. Apparently JWhit is back and better than ever and we’ve seen what he can do in the 2 games he playe a year. I’m going to keep drinking the koolaid and say he plays half a season this year. If Brennan Thompson can show up and run some routes and catch more than he drops…. This WR room is going to be a nightmare for defenses. Very good chance we’re looking at 3 future NFL WRs. How many teams can say their 3 starters are pro prospects right now with scouts? TE: J’Tavian Sanders is apparently focused and ready to kick some ass. Apparently he an athletic freak with strong hands. Let’s see if Banks can get this former 5 star player that dominated in high school in a competitive district live up to his potential. OL: my only kool aid here is I’m praying Kyle Flood can get these freshman ready and prove why he’s so highly regarded as an OL coach. There’s some serious talent coming in and if this OL can even get 25% better… this offense is probably going to be one of the best on the country. Ewers strength is his deep ball and we have two players in Neyor and Worthy to stretch the field. I imagine we’re going to be dead set on pounding the rock and going deep. So many times I saw players wide open only for Card/Thompson to whiff our terrible WRs like Marcus Washington and Josh Moore drop pass after pass. I’m pretty excited to watch this offense… the defense….. however…. Will be hot garbage. Not even going to bother discussing it.
  21. Man, how are you guys leveling up so fast. I'm at lvl 21 and find myself in these surprise boss battles where I lose my runes. I can't beat anyone except your common foot soldier/enemies. I have no idea how to cast spells and do magic. I've picked up a katana and long sword but can't even use it. I want to play this game more but seems like I just ride around, will collect runes, and then lose them and won't be able to recover them.
  22. Purdue is better than us. Can we beat this team? Sure, but probably not on nights where you have a shooting drought for 25% of the game.
  23. We’ve missed a few easy shots, layups, etc. Defense hasn’t been half bad but we’re going to need to make those gimme shots if we want the in this game. also, beard has to figure out how to get that mammoth in foul trouble bc it looks like a grown man playing bball against 1st graders when he’s out there. How do you stop that giant.
  24. Yup! What has it been… over a decade since we won a tourney game? I really can’t remember the last time. Was it the year we had Tristan Thompson and Hamilton?
