  1. What a great college game and environment. I wish Texas had this type of game environment. Our south end zone is shit, empty with corporate suites. This is what makes college football special, yet we seem to want to create an NFL type of game day experience with a wine and cheese crowd.
  2. Ohio states WRs are making tough catches in crucial moments with DBs draped all over them. Outside of Worthy, our WRs drop easy passes that hit them in the hands with no one near them.
  3. They wouldn’t let him enroll early due to a class that didn’t meet their admissions requirement I believe. We truly lucked into him with Michigan fucking up and Sark having built a strong relationship with him.
  4. Yeah, so Herman and Mehringer watched JSN and thought he wasn’t good enough to play at Texas? Instead we got Troy Omeire, Kelvontay Dixon, and Dajon Harrison lmao. These jokes just write themselves. Not sure which if those two were worse than Strong thinking CeeDee Lamb wasn’t fast enough to play at Texas.
  5. Yup. Also Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, and Terrance Marshall on that LSU team.
  6. I’m very much enjoying Michigan spank ohio state here. Fuck that piece of shit fanbase.
  7. Also, any chance we can convince the Western Kentucky QB to grad transfer here if he has an extra year of eligibility? He’s from Victoria, Texas. 6’1 220 lbs. passed for 4600+ yards, 48 TDs/ 9 ints, with a 71% completion rate. If Sark isn’t tampering and getting a QB like this, then he’s clueless. Obviously, he’s already on the NFL scouts radar but this is a guy Sark needs to call up and say, I put Mac Jones, Jake Locker in the 1st round and 6 other QBs drafted . Come play in my offense and get national media attention and ink him a fucking big NIL deal instead of being a mid to low draft pick. If he says no, find the next QB that has proven he’s accurate and can pass at the college level.
  8. If this staff is banking on Ewers, we are truly fucked. That kid may be extremely talented but he has a very selfish and entitled attitude and this program honestly needs to get away from that. We need guys like Rojo to help build our culture. Find a guy at a smaller school that can make reads and get the ball out quickly. We don’t need a QB with NFL traits. We need a guy that can be a leader and simply run this offense. Obviously you take Ewers if he wants to come but I’m not sure he solves some of the deeper rooted issue with this program.
  9. This athletic department runs the football program like a corporate company that wants to maintain and image and maintain revenue. We do not run our program with the mindset of winning and we are not willing to do the things to compete with the likes of UGA, Bama, tOSU, LSU and aggy. Ironically, we want to be like Michigan watching this game but we are so far off from that as well.
  10. Yup. The only high end talent on this team are Zay, Bijan, Collins, and Whittington (when he’s healthy). All were 5 star players. As much as coaching matter, there is a reason guys like Orgeron, Miles, Smart, and Chizik can win championships. Recurring elite talent matters. Fighting okie light, baylor, tcu for recruits will give use 5-7 wins a year. Unfortunately elite players for the most part want to play for winning teams that develop talent and teams that drop bags. We don’t do any of those. I honestly think the only way to accumulate the talent we need until we can start winning and developing players is NIL… yet we dropped the ball on that as well.
  11. I’ll take average at safety over Foster and Schooler but yeah, I get it.
  12. Look at some of the players from Texas that we wanted that are impact players and pro prospects on other teams. We’ve constantly whiffed on top talent in the state and we wonder why our roster is full of Jags. How different does this team look with just a few players that we whiffed on… Garrett Wilson, JSN, Chris Owens, Kenyon Green, DeMarvin Leal, Demani Richardson, Jaylon Jones, etc. We basically end up with guys that should be fucking playing at Baylor, Tech, TCU. It’s frustrating.
  13. I really wish they would try and develop Jamison as a free safety. He has good instincts, can play the ball, and is fast. Instead they played a guy that runs a fucking 4.9, can’t cover, poor instincts, and doesn’t give a rats ass in BJ Foster.
  14. Same damn reason Demas and Dylan Wright picked aggy. It’s because they are getting paid money. That offense is where WRs go to destroy their career. Stewart is looking for every reason to come here but it’s easy to pick Bama and go play for championships with elite talent and basically position yourself to be a 1st round pick. Oh and you’ll probably get 200k from their boosters as well. Our athletic department is completely clueless on how to fix this shit. They had 2 years to come up with a NIL plan and still no fucking advantage.
  15. I think our 5-7 season already took us out of the running but you’re right… Also, what does it say that a broke ass university in a shithole state that’s undergone a massive scandal and investigation can lure in one of the best coaches and minds in college football where as our last 3 hires were failed head coaches and guys from G5 schools in Strong, Herman, and Sark. Just goes to show you how this university and AD has no clue how to close in good coaches and build a winning program. Makes me want to throw up that LSU may end up with Riley and we’ve got a failed recovering alcoholic trying to build a program here.
  16. Our OL is definitely improving. A good qb will make them look even better. Not saying our OL is Bama but if we can get a guy that can follow then progressions the way Sark wants and get the ball out in time without panicking, we will look even better.
  17. It’s really frustrating that we let go of good coaches who were able to develop players here like Ash, Hutzler, and Giles (argue all you want, we had two guys that ended up Big 12 DL player of the year). Instead he kept Andre Coleman…. A guy that should either be an analyst or coaching at a Div 2 school.
  18. You should be happy. We have enough JAGs on this team. One less roster spot wasted on a player that wasn’t going to make an impact here. Here’s a solution Sark. Hire Rashad Samples, get Jordan Hudson, find 250k somewhere and then get Evan Stewart. Close out with Matthew Golden and hold on to Thompson.
  19. My man Arch… dude is going to get crazy pussy at Ole Miss or UGA.
  20. Enjoy selling insurance BJ. It’s one thing to suck, another to be a poor senior leader with constant poor effort. Some of these kids are going to have a reality check when no one from the NFL answers the door when they knock and when no other decent power 5 team wants to take them in. Like Rod Babers was saying, even if we weren’t competing for the big 12, they still have to put out good film. Which teams are going to take them after watching their film? This season was full of entitled players, with selfish attitudes, and I can’t call them a team. Glad we finished the season with a win. I guess they can pat themselves on the back for not losing 7 in a row. Time to bring in guys that love football and love the work that goes into it and love to compete.
  21. Eh… Miller stung bc he was actually good. Winfield can enjoy blocking in the cold weather in East Lansing. If Sark covets speed, then Winfield is not a good fit for us. Our coaches know and Winfield knows it. Get Matthew Golden and hope some alum can put together 250k with a QB transfer for Stewart. Also, Coleman needs to be fired yesterday.
  22. 7 players blocking against a 3 man rush…. Sack….
  23. Lol, I like how they left the entire wide side of the hash open. Schooler left his guy wide open. We have one safety on a WR in all of that open space. Deuce runs it right in untouched on the wide side. I’m being serious here, I can call a better defense from my years of killing it on Madden and NCAA football. I would run a base 4-2-5 defense and I bet you our results would be better. It’s basically what Ash did. He dumbed it down and let his athletes be athletes. Our current coaches are fucking morons. Why we keep hiring guys that have one system without personnel to match it is beyond me.
  24. Banks isn’t coming here and never was coming here. We didn’t even make his top two the last to around. If he’s flipping, it’s to aggy.
  25. Yeah…. I kinda wish we didn’t take his commitment. What’s the bust rate again on players that commit and decommit multiple times? Anyways…. Yay…
