  1. Sounds like a certain DB that may be regretting decommitting and switching to a school that’s going to end up with the likes of UH
  2. seems like we maybe shouldn’t have fired Coleman Hutzler. I really wish Sark would have kept him considering the development of Overshown.
  3. Quite a few people need to be fired for not being prepared for NIL. We sat here hyping our program talking about how Texas was going to lead college football with NIL and every fucking school is hammering to recruits that Texas has no idea what it’s doing, which is in fact true. Other schools are straight up paying players legally now, and not small dollar amounts. Ohio state is trying to put together 7 figure worth of deals for Quinn Ewers. Our fucking morons in charge we’re thinking $50 cameo shoutouts and social media branding and clothing lines/merchandise was the the answer. Hey you stupid fucks. Guess what. Players don’t want to have to do more work on top of practice and schools. Take a look at what Oregon, Bama, aggy, Miami, UGA and other schools are doing. You need to straight up pay these players. Denver Harris has his fucking hand out for a NIL deal and has stated that he doesn’t know where Texas stands on NIL. Perkins likes our scheme and the city and aggy straight up is paying him not to visit us. Same with Dewberry. Kiss Evan Stewart goodbye when Bama/Oregon drops a 100k NFT deal for him. Joining the SEC is not going to fix our recruiting problems. They need to wipe the entire AD for letting this program fall this low. They need to hire people from SEC programs that know how to get players and recruits paid. We need to do this ASAP.
  4. lol what? Frenchie put up a black guy and a Hispanic chick on the block week one. Then he tried to put up the asian guy until he won safety for the week? Stop with the race bull shit. In this political climate, CBS is obviously trying to shed light on certain topics. I wish that wasn't the case because I like to watch tv to get away from political bullshit. But they definitely don't have a concerted effort of targeting white males.
  5. With regards to Anderson, not sure where the confidence is coming from. From reading the tea leaves, seems like he gave us a silent and then also gave Jimbo a silent after he made 3-4 trips to college station. He's pushed his decision back multiple times and proceeded to visit aggy each time. Him pushing back his commitment again to see if Texas will play in the SEC should spell it out for you. Seems like he's planning on committing to aggy based on their entire sales pitch of playing in the SEC. Seems like now that Texas may be playing in the conference in 2022, it may swing back in our favor. We need the SEC move to become final and the school needs to push to play in the conference next year regardless of whatever exit fee we may have to pay or settle for.
  6. No way this isn’t our last year in the BIG 12. If they had any intentions of staying through 2025, they would have been on that conference call. The minute these other schools find a home, this conference is going to blow up. From a recruiting standpoint, you have to leave now. No recruit is going the sign up to play in a conference the next 4 years that isn’t going to exist. This move just basically reinforced the pitch that the SEC is a better conference. We can’t now go and pitch to them that conference doesn’t matter when we ourselves are making the move to the SEC. We need to settle this buyout and start pitching to recruits that Texas is going to be playing in the SEC as a big dog next year. On a side note, take a dive on the aggy thread. It’s so funny watching those idiots build their entire sales pitch on the SEC. Now that Texas and ou are in the conference, they have nothing to pitch. Texas is about to fucking clean up on the recruiting trail if we can make this move happen quickly.
  7. He was our first commit and he committed to the previous staff. Seems like the new staff would have taken him but they probably have other players higher on the board.
  8. Fucking this. We've been bitching about schools paying players and now when you can legally do so... our fucking school still is inept. The minute monetizing NIL was legal, our damn athletic department should have had deals ready to do for big figures for our players and to show recruits that you can come to Texas to make some fucking money. Instead, we simply had our media department put out a bunch of fucking graphics and jack shit has been done. Meanwhile, Saban is telling recruits his QB is getting 7 figures in NIL and Oregon is paying 100k directly to one of their players. I'm fucking sick of how shitty our athletic department is. I'm starting to come to the conclusion that it's not the coaches we cycle through here, but instead the fucking idiots running the AD.
  9. Joey Freshwater making a come back I see!
  10. Lmao. I hope Frenchie stays for pure entertainment value. The guy is completely on edge and off the walls. He starts an alliance and then blow is up within 1 week HAH.
  11. Don’t look. I’m down big today. Fuck I’ve been down big the last 4-5 months. Fuck my life
  12. Yeah, we have a solid class. Keep in mind, a lot of schools will pass us up as they fill up. This looks like a solid top 10 class. I think where the frustrations land is that we keep missing on some guys that we should be landing which is keeping us from recruiting like Bama, Clemson, tOSU, UGA, LSU etc. To make that next jump, we need to start landing some better high end talent.
  13. yeah, fully expecting this thing to drop to $7-8 bucks. Just going to ignore this stock for the next 2 years hoping they get good news from their trials. I'm also down on WISH. My stonk portfolio is down 35%. Fuck my life.
  14. We looked just fine without Sam our last 2 games. In fact, we looked better. I'm not saying Cosmi is bad or anything. Just that we had guys step up while he was probably mentally checked out trying not to get hurt after the tcu and ou losses.
  15. Frenchie blew his entire game in one week. Week one is no pressure. Just nominate 2 weak players, say it’s not personal, that you didn’t get a chance to talk to them, use your HoH to build bridges. Instead he cracked. He broke promises, open targeted the bros in the game who will 100% be coming after him next week. He also creeped everyone out in the house by trying to sneak into rooms and listen in on conversations.
  16. We simply have to be better than everyone but ou which should not be a hard to ask this staff. We have a top 3-5 DC, we also have a top 3 play caller in Sark, and Banks who is supposed to be an elite special teams coach. If these guys can’t gameplan again teams outside of ou, then what a waste of fucking money. We have a stacked RB room with a Heisman potential player in Bijan. Whittington was once a 5 star player and I’ve seen enough to know that guy can fucking play at a high level if he’s healthy. Add in Josh Moore, TO21, Dixon, and Worthy. While that may not be as stacked as Bama, tOSUs WR corps… it’s better than 90% of rosters. Our D-line depth is probably top 5 in the country. We have an experienced and talented secondary. This defense should be stout if DMO comes back healthy and we can get 2 other LBs to step up. We’re not in a terrible spot at QB. Both are inexperienced but both show decent to good accuracy and ++ speed. Run the fucking ball with Bijan/Rojo/K. Robinson. Get Whittington, Worthy, Dixon in space and dump it off to them and let them use their speed. Use TO on fades, jump balls, and in the red zone. Keep this shit simple and I bet we win 10+ games. Now if I see some stupid Tom Herman shit like Garrett fucking Gray out there starting and stupid blitzes from 15 yards out, I’m going just tune out for the rest of the season.
  17. It’s sad to me that us fans are fully expecting to drop one of the first two games and expecting 7-9 wins. Fuck losing to some directional Louisiana team and a fucking bottom barrel Arkansas team. And fuck losing any games in the big 12. We have out recruited every fucking team including ou. If these coaches can’t get us to 10 fucking wins against the pathetic big 12 and a shitty OOC schedule, then fuck this program. Fucking aggy is expecting to compete for a national championship with a 1st year QB and we’re sitting here wondering if our new staff can out perform that moron Tom Herman. 10+ wins and a big 12 championship appearance is what we need to accomplish.
  18. I had a similar experience with Exact Sciences. Bought at $17. Just kept losing money as it went down to $7. Ended up getting FDA approval and now its at $118. Kicking myself for selling it for a loss. I'm just going to close my eyes and wait it out with IBRX.
  19. Remember when people were saying Texas was going to lead the nation in NIL? Lmao. Oregon and Miami are straight up paying players openly now and we’re telling recruits we will help increase their Instagram followers so. As usual, Texas steps on their dicks.
  20. Literally all of those schools minus ou are paying players. Clemson has a whole fucking church built where they funnel money to recruits.
  21. My sister in law is friends with some of the cast members. Basically the actors were getting paid shit, weren’t happy with the character development, and overall there was disconnect between the cast and the director/producers. They are also pissed that the show gained popularity off of Asian actors and they decided to give a the spin off show to the white girl.
  22. NIL isn’t going to stop schools from dropping bags. Kids will still want the big pay day rather than hoping they can build a following in hopes of getting money from name, image, and likeness. Most players have said NIL isn’t playing a big role in their decisions. Let’s see how Texas utilizes it. Have any football players actually monetized this so far? Outside of guys like Bijan, most guys may make $100-200 bucks here and there with appearances. That’s not going to move the needle in recruiting. The talk of Texas being the biggest player in NIL seems silly. Just looks like we will help players build a following and help link them with marketing firms. Not sure what else Texas is planning on doing.
  23. Right now, our message is not resonating. While yes, they can point to their previous resume… our rivals are hitting them with the same pitch. Here’s how this conversation goes. ”Look at all the good coaches and staffs that have been there that have gotten fired. Mack Brown, Charlie Strong, Tom Herman. None of them succeeded there and none were able to develop blue chip players. Sark is a good coach but wait to see if he can actually put players in the league at Texas. His success is because of Nick Saban and Bama. He doesn’t have a good record as a head coach. Why commit to Texas when you can come here and we will develop you. Don’t risk your future betting on Texas until they prove it.” Then they back it up with the articles showing Texas with the lowest blue chip development rate of all power 5 programs. Most of the current recruits have no memories of Texas being a top program. I follow a bunch of Instagram recruiting accounts that interact with high school and college athletes. Most of them have Texas on the same tier program wise as TCU, Baylor, Arkansas, Tennessee, etc. Sark needs to change that perception fast by winning. It’s a simple solution… just win. Apparently that seems impossible for all the coaches we have hired the last decade for whatever reason.
