  1. God damn it. Loved the enchiladas at Dart Bowl. Fuck 2020 and fuck the rona
  2. Thank God we don’t have teachers unions in Texas to be able to pull that type of crap
  3. Scratch another one of our guys off the list of availables. This is a pure dipshit move.
  4. Nice compromise and thanks to the Jamail family for agreeing to change the name of the field. The Eyes are too important to ditch. Hook 'em
  5. The worst are the shrill Karens on social media preaching about staying at home with their Zoom happy hours and then post pictures of their families at the beach in Galveston or Port A.
  6. The school districts have the leverage and are using it. I’m pleasantly surprised they are being hardasses about it because getting kids back in school needs to be a priority. Those that resign can join the millions of others looking for work. It’s not as if their skill set is in high demand. I’d rather hire a hungry college grad than a teacher who decided to resign when they’re needed the most.
  7. cyberx who has revealed a ton of inside shit before on Clutchfans says that Harden has the rona.
  8. A couple of fuckers in Congress are trying to gum shit up. That’s what I’m talking about. No CR
  9. He isn’t wrong you know. Hopefully the Big XII and SEC lead the way in pushing back.
  10. Fuck yes. Big XII and SEC still have non- conference games we are golden. Who gives a shit about the PAC. It just means more in Big XII and SEC country. haha
  11. Now idiots in Congress are weighing in. Awesome. Meanwhile, Blumental and Senator Corey Booker (D-N.J.) have introduced legislation that would prevent schools from asking college athletes to sign COVID-19 waivers. Blumenthal calls the waiver requests “an implicit recognition of the dangers [of] having those students come back.”
  12. The NYT should be ashamed of printing that article. It is incredibly biased and cherry picks data to a ridiculous degree. Their strategy was to keep their hospitals from being overloaded, have sustainable practices for the long haul without the herky jerky lockdowns we are seeing and to reach herd immunity. Stockholm is pretty much through this with 20 percent of the population with anti-bodies and an estimated additional 40 percent with T-cell immunity. The vast majority of their deaths were from those in nursing homes and over 80. They acknowledged they could have done a better job in isolating the olds. Unlike the Karens here who would never allow us to follow such a sensible policy, Swedes can have a frank discussion on the costs associated with keeping those at the end of their lives alive vs hamstringing the rest of society. They still had kids in school. I still have my money on them being correct.
  13. The NYT's agenda on full display with this article. No mention of the fact that despite a complete lack of lockdown, there have been no new COVID patients admitted to the ICU in Stockholm’s largest hospital for over two weeks. As of today, there are no actively contagious COVID patients in that same hospital. It was all over the news in Sweden. This is a huge victory, and a key indicator that Sweden is “well over the main hump” of surging cases. This article also completely ignores the social cost of lockdown. The US is already seeing rising rates of violence, depression, and suicide. Children have been out of school for months, and at what cost to their mental health? What about all the diseases that have gone undetected and untreated, thanks to clinics closing down? The side effects are endless, and they can’t be discounted. Norway, Denmark, and Finland will all see surges once they ease their lockdowns—just as California was once lauded as a leader in the COVID fight, then crumbled upon reopening. Sweden took a long haul approach that they knew their people could sustain for months, if not years. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
  14. Luc Mbah a Moute is a Rocket again. I know he hasn't played in a while but if he can add 10 minutes a game of quality D it would be a huge improvement over Thabo.
  15. Have your kid take a leave of absence. I’m sure they’d give him one. Anything he does during that time would be better than wasting money and time with this shit. I haven’t talked to one person who felt that they got a quality education from online. Universities think they can get away with this. Parents and students need to tell them they can’t with a middle finger.
  16. Losing the relationships made with other students is a huge part of the perceived value of a degree from there. Could you imagine them trying to sell you on a full price Harvard MBA online while losing out on everything else!
  17. Harvard has no plans to reduce tuition. Students and parents should give universities the finger and request deferrals/leaves of absence en masse. Universities are living in a bubble if they expect this to fly.
  18. LOL. You’d be stupid as either a parent or student to accept online education at a $75k per year price tag. Defer admission and take a gap semester/year.
  19. The NFL is killing their fan base. They regained some of those lost during the kneeling bullshit a few years ago. Check the comments sections of other websites. Fans are quitting pro sports. We don’t want to be pandered and force fed bullshit.
  20. Sick and tired of this crap. Done with the pandering. Fuck you NFL and stick your racist black national anthem up your ass. The only anthem I will sing is the Star Spangled Banner. What is the appropriate response to this song being sung. Turning your back to the field? I will join in any concerted effort to fight back against the game being hijacked.
  21. It’s not a racist song and the reasons claimed are specious at best. Nothing proving it was sung in black face. We are not going to jump because a bunch of spoiled athletes that have never won shit are complaining. People on my side far outnumber yours. If the school gets rid of it there will be people like me singing it regardless. Then you will have a situation where a small overly sensitive group of students manipulated by a middling ethnic studies professor that took away something unifying that we all loved for over 100 years. CDC is taking his time because he knows this is a time bomb. OU and aggy are laughing at us contorting ourselves over this shit. They couldn’t have dreamed to come up something this good to derail our entire program.
  22. Everyone knows the issue that separates good schools from bad is the level of parental involvement in education. The parents who value education and impart the importance of it to get ahead will have kids going to good schools. Poor Asian kids are kicking ass in NYC speciality and talented and gifted schools and have EARNED far more seats than their percentage of the population. That’s a problem for the mayor who thinks that the composition of such schools should match the racial breakdown of the city which has nothing to do with merit.
