  1. Berkman is really good in the booth. Would love to see him involved next year full time with our broadcasts now that he quit his job coaching Second Baptist.
  2. Killed that ball. Second monster shot to the right field upper deck
  3. https://mlb66.ir/ It’s kind of funny it has an .ir domain which is for Iranian websites
  4. https://mlb66.ir/ this one has no popup ads
  5. Clanton is kind of a douche but I do like his A Team show with Wexler. They’re both born and raised Houstonians who have lived and died with our teams unlike Cletus and Kamla Razorback Redneck radio on 610.
  6. The WSJ has a center-right slant and the vast majority of the commenters are right-wing like me. Apparently right wing commenters do not engage in "thoughtful conversations". These were the justifications used for the change. " It’s a project we’ve been working on for months, starting with rigorous research and ending with a strategy to foster healthy conversations around our coverage. But at some point, we looked at ourselves and asked what we were doing about it. Were we providing a forum for thoughtful conversation? Were we providing an experience that interested most of our audience? Were we leading by example? We decided we could do more to foster elevated discourse and to welcome broader parts of our audience to join in conversations around our articles. We kicked off a five-month process of in-depth audience research and news product development. It involved everyone from the Journal’s Standards desk, community team and numerous reporters to the product, design, technology, R&D teams, and the membership and customer service desks. We know there will inevitably be a small group of people who may not like the changes, but there is a far larger group that would like to contribute to audience conversations if the postings became more thoughtful. 7. Man that’s badass. No ads and great quality. Thanks for sharing
  8. They’ve tried to silence us there too. Removed the ability to comment on every article, especially those most newsworthy, to foster a safe space for the libs.
  9. Khaled is an Arabic name. Just a hunch but I think Anglo-American reference is not to ethnicity but our common political and legal heritage. It's just a hunch though. I mean the roster of speakers had a diverse array of races. https://nationalconservatism.org/
  10. National conservatism embodies what I have supported since my college days as a Pat Buchanan primary voter and is replacing the neocon endless war bullshit and free trade at all costs sellouts. Wish I had heard about this conference and attended it. This ideology will be fleshed out and ready to go in 2024. https://nationalconservatism.org/about/
  11. I am outraged and want new legislation. I don't own a gun and am fine with gun control. I am voting against this President in 2020 so shit can calm down. I would rather have the Dems win to calm shit down. Ending illegal immigration and limiting and changing legal immigration standards should be on the table and discussed in 2024. It won't because you'll be called a racist if you do. Tucker is not afraid to have that discussion. I hope he runs in 2024 after shit cools down. Enough with the flamethrowers
  12. The Dayton shooter was a registered Democrat. The Ohio Board of Elections reveals Betts began voting in 2012, and next voted in the Democratic Party Ohio Primary on March 15 of 2016. After voting in the 2016 General Election, Betts later voted in the 2018 Democratic Party Primary on May 8, 2018. Betts voted in a total of 7 elections, including Democratic Primaries
  13. You don't disappoint. People like you like to tar and feather Tucker for white nationalism for being against the disaster we have with illegal immigration. I watch his show and read his books. By such characterizations, you'd think you'd hear him go on rants against Hispanics or Muslims describing them as subhuman. He called out Ilhan Omar for vilifying the country that saved her family from the refugee camps. I am guilty of anti-Muslim bias; that was not the basis of his critique of her. The libs don't want a discussion and want to silence us on the right. That pisses me off. We can't even have a decent discussion here. Look at what happened with BurntEyes yesterday.
  14. I think the tactic of shouting down, belittling and throwing out the "racist" card on anyone who wants to restrict immigration has had an impact. Whether it is illegal immigration, cultural compatibility of Muslims to American values, etc., the liberal press, corporate America and the entertainment industry, have suppressed all talk about reasonable immigration and other social issues that conservatives disagree. If they provided a forum where both sides of the issue were discussed perhaps these deranged killers wouldn't be so deranged. They would feel like their voices were being expressed in the public discourse instead of being suppressed. Would that be a panacea and solve this shit? No. Do I think we should have some reasonable gun control, yes. We no longer communicate. Witness the CR. We no longer have community organizations. To quote from the WSJ: "It is all-too-typical of most of these young male killers who tend to be loners and marinate in notions they absorb in the hours they spend online. They are usually disconnected to family, neighborhood, church, colleagues at work, or anything apart from their online universe. This is one price we are paying for the decline in what the late sociologist Peter Berger called the “mediating institutions” that help individuals form cultural and social attachments. These are churches, business and social clubs like the Rotary, charitable groups, even bowling leagues, and especially the family. Government programs can never replace these as protectors of troubled young people." Cue the insults that from the usual suspects. Cue briskettexan going off on a deranged rant and calling me a terrorist.
  15. I love this lack of logic. You have no idea if he voted for Trump. I bet it feels better to get it out though. Not agreeing to your warped world view lockstep does not compute in your binary world. Your usual m.o. is to neg. I don’t want Trump re-elected. Will vote against him. As Bill Maher said on Friday night, Joe Biden is like non-dairy creamer. It works in a pinch. Need someone to calm shit down. Would rather have the libs win in 2020 to do it if that’s what it’d take.
  16. The CR belongs to your gang. Enjoy it.
  17. The CR regulars are bitching over in that cesspool that we are not posting over there depriving them of the gang ups they like to engage in. They don’t like that there is more of a fair fight here. They want the echo chamber and posters they can beat upon to feel better about themselves.

For the record I haven’t tailored a jersey for more than 4 years now and no longer buy Chinese knockoffs. The $99 officially licensed jerseys are what I buy now. They’re not stitched but they have a better fit and don’t need tailoring. Better value and not breaking the law. Win win

What’s stupid is the Texans not realizing D’onta was not going to cut it sooner and have a plan in place for the 2nd RB by grabbing one in the draft or FA. Now we are stuck with hoping one of the new guys brought in will be serviceable. Since the end of last season, they’ve acted like the 2nd RB spot was secure to be filled by D’onta. They have no backup plan in place and have to rely in UDFAs, street FAs, to fill in the void. This is a pattern with this team and it sucks. D’onta is Rick’s final mid round bust for us. Good teams make hay in the 3-4 the rounds to build depth while we routinely flubbed. The 2018 draft was a nice change in that we grabbed Reid and the Justins in those rounds. Too bad we fired the GM who made those picks.

Didn’t know about his dad tweeting that. Sucks if his immaturity is the reason he doesn’t have a job with the Texans anymore. It was just such a 180 from the praises they were singing about him all offseason. I thought him not playing special teams was a coaching decision and not him declining to do so. Listening to sports talk, reading the paper and messageboards and attending Texans games and bitching about them takes a huge chunk of my free time during football season. I’d have nothing to do if I quit caring

I got negged by you for my fucking opinion. Seriously, that’s a CR move. Weak sauce. The Texans were singing his praises all offseason and now they cut him. Makes no sense. We haven’t locked up Clowney supposedly because he isn’t an “O’Brien type of guy”. What the hell does that even mean. Fake tough with no personality. Buttchin is a fraud and he is gong to get fired hopefully after this season. If they knew, D’onta wasn’t working out, why didn’t they make a move earlier to grab Riddick who was available or Melvin Gordon who is still available. Oh that’s right, we don’t have a GM but Cletus our owner says we have a better, flatter organization.

Fuck Bill O’Brien, fuck the McNairs, fuck Panckes McClain and their apologists at 610 and finally fuck the Texans. Dumpster fire of an organization that will crash and burn this year. D’onta wasn’t given a fair shake ever by buttchin. Pancakes said that D’onta was doing great during OTAs and was in great shape and now they’re waiving him. Pancakes has ZERO insight into the Texans and is a fat, lazy reporter. How’s not having a GM working for you Cal? Wouldn’t it have made sense to have grabbed another RB in free agency and the draft if decided to get rid of D’onta.
  23. And it’s not good for my soul. That’s why I have stopped
