  1. Thank you, gents, for proving my memory for 45 yr old stuff is crap. I did recall the Clemson joke, thankfully
  2. Ok. When they were in the hunt for a mnc in late season way back when. Back when they last had millions of eyeballs on them.
  3. Nah. The difference is….. you could eat the bowling ball if you had to. Apologies.
  4. My next older sister did grad school at the real USC. This was way back when they won an NC, 70’s. Their cheer then: No one can beat our cocks. poor, sure. But their real hate is for Clemson. And they have a whole rack of Clemson jokes, most we’ve heard as Aggie jokes. What’s the difference between the Clemson beauty queen and a bowling ball?
  5. We have some idea, one driven by observation and outcomes. Call it hurt, call it a messed up head, whatever. I think putting him out there a third time misses one game for the next option to get in and start getting better.
  6. I’m all for Sark, all for Quinn, but he said Quinn was ready each of the last 2 games. He was not. Just sayin.
  7. Quinn can’t hit the deep ball, is bothered by pain in intermediate throws, and has difficulty moving to one side. The whole world knows this. We can’t put a QB out there with those deficits and expect to win many. Blanket coverage of receivers and massive rush all day long.
  8. I think a reassessment of his many duties would merit some change that could improve game prep and in game management. Like the team, he looked overwhelmed. Not meant as a criticism.
  9. And true. You seem to be stumbling over this. These impacts are real. You not caring about these people to be hurt defines you, at this moment.
  10. Girl, you put that knife in deeply, and twisting. What is fat Mack up to? Who cares?
  11. It’s a lonely job, this grammar thing. I’m prone to it, but you are right. Nobody gives a shit anymore. Any rule, smash it.
  12. Even Feinbaum is blaming Saban. This is the upset of the decade.
  13. The wins will come and go, but the greatness in what Sark and the team are intentionally doing and passing on to the next group is the big win for our university.
  14. This is sort of what I inarticulately thought when he was announced. Or hoped. Thanks for your insights.
  15. My dad had the Purple Heart. Earned behind the lines on d-day. Both he and my mom were fervent FDR democrats. My dad could not believe anyone would vote republican - as they were the enemies of FDR. 4 siblings in our 60’s and up, all proud libs from day one. Don’t know how that happened. Luck. Now, some in the next generation surprise me. In laws, and what not.
  16. And it won’t cause a single true physical or economic problem for them when it happens . Just a rancid idea
  17. Well, good for him. Nicer weather, for sure.
  18. In fall of 72, when I entered, tuition was a flat $50 per semester. Fees totaled $114. Big cost was Jester at about $900 per semester room and board.
  19. Wasn’t it Harrell that turned down the UT OC offer, which then put us in panic mode as the UT President personally went live on the visit to Sterlin Gilbert. Glad we missed on GH
  20. A bigger, meaner (if possible) version of Ant Hill.
